Review: Mystery, Marriage, and Magic and much more. - When I first read about this fabulous couple and their history and present story I was overwhelmed, especially when they had their HEA. Imagine my delight when I read this exceptional author announced a further visit to the Professor Gabriel Emerson and his beautiful wife Julia, or Juliette as Gabriel likes to refer to her. We revisit following the arrival of their child Clare, after a somewhat troubled pregnancy and delivery. The humour, passion and delightful story onsite in to college life abounds. We meet old characters such as Katherine, Paul, Richard, Rebecca and Rachel and we move on viewing their lives through the power of words and descriptive narratives. Gabriel remains a complex but incredibly protective, over powering and humourus character, that remains so adorable. Julia’s character has grown but still remains a little rabbit like. Although she knows how to cope with Gabriel nature with tender love and persuasion. Clare is portrayed as a very delightful growing child, who has two very and adoring doting parents and a wide extended equally devoted circle of family and friends. We have drama as ever, and an undercurrent of uncertainty and definite intrigue that keeps the reader enthralled. It would be unwise to start this great story with this book, as it would be more than a little foolish to have missed the first three books about this couple, but also confusing. I sincerely hope we have more books to look forward to in this enchanting story, and pray that the author continues to get inspiration. Well worth 5 stars, and thank you SR, for a wonderful revisit to this delightful family. Review: Perfect book. Sad I've finished.. - I loved this book. Great characters and story. What an epic conclusion
What an epic conclusion! I have loved this series and am a little sad that it has finish. But what a journey! I have loved every twist and turn of Gabriel and Julia's story. Falling in love is easy, its life that's the hard work. The words stuck because they are true. Everything that comes after falling in love is the hard part. Working to keep your relationship healthy, working on yourself inside that relationship and thats without jobs and being a student, nevermind getting pregnant and adding a baby into the mix but some how they seem to manage this tightrope we call life. I mean there were times when I wanted to bang their heads together for trying to protect each other and not talking and causing a bigger problem but we are all guilty of that in relationships sometimes. Though through all of their struggles, their highs and lows I found myself falling in love with them and their story over and over again. I could hardly put the book down for wanting to know what happened next and I wasn't disappointed. I do live in hope that one day they might make a reappearance one day. Until then rereading the books will be the perfect salve.

A Satisfying Continuation.
I was excited and apprehensive when I discovered "Gabriel's Promise," the fourth book in Sylvain Reynard's Gabriel's Inferno series. Having thoroughly enjoyed the first three books, I wondered if this instalment could maintain the same intensity and passion. This book picks up with Gabriel and Julia as they embark on the journey of parenthood after welcoming their daughter, Clare. Witnessing their growth as a couple and their challenges as new parents was heartwarming. Reynard's writing still beautifully captures the essence of their love story. However, I found myself agreeing with some reviewers who felt that the plot in this book was not as robust as in the previous ones. While it was lovely to see the characters' domestic life, unresolved mysteries and loose ends left me wanting more. Nonetheless, "Gabriel's Promise" is a satisfying read for fans of the series who want to continue following the lives of Gabriel and Julia. It may not reach the same heights as its predecessors, but it still offers glimpses of their enduring love. I hope another book in the series will tie up those loose ends. In summary, if you've fallen in love with Gabriel and Julia's story, this book is a worthwhile addition to their journey, even if it leaves you with a few unanswered questions.

Happy Endings
This book was a great read. It was nice to see the Emerson’s enjoying there time together and seeing both characters grow. Both Gabriel and Julia were able to grow and became better versions of themselves, but only because of each other. I really enjoyed this series.

So in love with Gabriel and Julia!
I found the Gabriel series about a year or so ago, during reading This Man, someone suggested it. Bought it, and it had just been sitting on my self. But I discovered, Passionflix is making the three current books into movies which will be released this year, so I had to start reading...and I can't put the books down. I have fallen in love with Julia and Gabriel and their love story. I'm obsessed, and I can't wait for the movies to come out!

ART
When I thought Professor Emerson couldn't be more lovable, he becomes a Dad. When I thought Julianne couldn't be more brave, she stands up for herself once again. I love these books so so so so much. Truly inspiring. It's a beautiful love story that touches close to my heart. Thank you Sylvain, thank you for the joy of a lifetime.

What can I say! We wanted more of our beloved Professor and his brown-eyed angel, and Sylvain Reynard has certainly delivered! Intelligently and flawlessly written, the words flowed beautifully from page to page. This fourth instalment in the Gabriel Series was everything and more. The story picks up from where Gabriel’s Redemption ends. Gabriel and Julia are now parents to the most precious baby daughter. There are challenges which they will face and something mysterious is going on as well. Captivating, intense and emotionally beautiful, this book will leave you wanting more. I felt that there were one or two questions left unanswered, so I am hoping that this means we will get a fifth book in the series some time in the future. To see Gabriel as a father is the most beautiful thing. Talk about swoon!! Gabriel adores his little Princess so much. He is a wonderful father, husband, passionate lover and friend, and I fell even more in love with him, if that could ever be possible. There’s a particular scene in the book where Gabriel is standing in a luxurious hotel room, contemplating what his life would be without his beloved Julianne and Clare. I may have become a little too emotional at this point. SR never fails to take my breath away with his exquisite and poetic writing. Gabriel’s Promise is another 5 star read from this brilliant author, and an absolute must read.

I've been attached to this story since the first book was published. I wish I could say I was there from the beginning, but I wasn't. But I fell for The Professor Gabriel Emerson since the very first lines and I can't bring myself to fall out of love. I just love Gabriel as a father, as a professor, as a brother, son, but mostly I love him as a husband and his undying love for Julianne and Clare, not matter what. I loved Richard's advices and some of them stuck with me. I could say I simply loved the Clarks and the Emerson. Although I would have loved to read more about Scott and Quinn, Aaron and Rachel.... even Christa! I loved every single word from this book and I wished it never ended. I could see there's a room for another book and I hope that there is, as I want to know who the hell dared to disturb their happiness, and I hope we can have another crossover between The Prince and the Emersons. Thank you, S. R for bringing back love, passion, hope and compassion.

O livro 4 é tão bom quanto os 3 primeiros, na minha opinião. Achei lindo, e me prendeu até o final.

None of SR's writing disappoints, this is no exception. The continuing saga of Gabriel and Julia is one with more twists and turns. We get to know Clare, their newborn daughter and watch as their relationship changes from new married to new parents. With development of side effects of Julia's delivery of Clare, we see the side of Gabriel the devoted Husband and now new Father more protective as ever. With the break-in of their home and dark shadows everywhere, we see Gabriel once again stop at nothing to protect what means most to him that no money could replace; his family. While I did love this story it did seem to be a bit rushed with a few dangling pieces that could weave into another book, Scotland is always a new adventure.

Gabriel’s Promise by Sylvain Reynard Professor Gabriel O. Emerson was and always will be my FIRST book boyfriend. January 2013 I was introduced to Sylvain Reynard outstanding sensual and lyrical writing with Gabriel’s Inferno novel. Seven is a magical number, and indeed during these years SR has written unforgettable, magical stories as the “Gabriel’s Inferno Series”, “The Florentine Series”, and the standalone “The Man in the Black Suit”. With his captivating and flawless writing Sylvain Reynard is like a wizard with his wand. It is impossible not be drawn to the complex development of the characters during the plot, the unconditional love, the seeking of redemption, and always wanting to be a better person. Not to mention all the art, music and places Sylvain Reynard takes his readers. Many of these places are highlights for many of us readers, like a pilgrimage, “most se places” During these years I felt honored to have the possibility and pleasure to create some edits with quotes from SR’s different novels. When Sylvain Reynard announced that he is writing the 4th book in the Gabriel’s Inferno Series my happiness and anticipation had been on the top. Gabriel’s Promise picks up where Gabriel’s Redemption ended. We meet a very emotional Gabriel, who can’t believe his luck by being blessed with his precious title baby girl Clare. His love for Clare is limitless from the very beginning. Parenthood lifts Gabriel’s character to a higher level. It is so hard not to swoon about the ones brooding and dark Gabriel as a devoted loving father. His connection and love to his Julianne and baby Clare is a love story without limits. Seeing him as a father those first moments, days, weeks with his baby Clare you can get a picture of what family really means to this ones broken dark angel. There are some issues arising, but they are confronted in togetherness, which shows how much Gabriel and Julia relationship had cemented, had developed. They are doing things together. For me it was a great surprise to get a glimpse of a character, a hint from Sylvain Reynard other novels. It is a kind a touch of mystery, although it could create bewilderment by those readers who haven’t read SR’s other novels, but not necessarily. “Gabriel’s Promise” by Sylvain Reynard is my first novel of 2020. I’m giving this novel five stars for its emotionally intense, captivating and enthralling love story spiced with humor and Dante ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
