I've been using essential oils for a couple of years now. I'm always trying different recipes and mixes. I use essential oils in diffusers, in skin and hair care products, mixed in with carrier oils, used to treat colds and flu, and also used as massage oils.I use citrus oils in spray bottles to clean since citrus oils kill germs and are anti-bacterial. Lemon and grapefruit is especially good to use in the kitchen, and it smells so good! I've followed quite a few of the cleanser recipes in this book and they work very, very well! This is a nice ebook for those that are just getting started using essential oils and would like to start learning about other ways to use them. This book lists the different types of oils, what they do, and how to use them. This book also describes the difference between cold pressing, steam distilling, and even fluid extraction so you can understand how essential oils are produced.Also in the book are blending tips so you can get an idea on how to blend your oils and which ones work best together. The recipes are easy to follow with ingredients that are already in most cupboards. This ebook is worth reading if you are interested in using essential oils and also to use as a quick reference. Just what I wanted. I have a Rainbow vacuum and I wanted to replace the formaldehyde scents supplied with something healthy, effective and targeting mold and pet smells. I found the info here in great combinations. Particularly grateful to find out about Clove Essential Oils effects on mold. Thanks.

I enjoyed this book a lot. There are lots of recipes. There are some spelling and grammar issues, but those don't bother me much. There were about 10 confusing spots throughout the book. Not being new I was able to catch the intent of most. However, not being extremely knowledgeable, I need to do some research to figure a few of them out. Example: eucalyptus and melaleuka were listed generically, so I need to research the constituents to know which variety I should use. I haven't tried the recipes yet, but I did enjoy the book!

Since I have allergies and am sensitive to store cleaners, I wanted to learn how to make my own SAFE cleaners at home. And what I really love about this book is that many of the essential oils, I already have in my home. My favorite cleaning oil is Tea Tree and this book gave me tips on how to use this ingredient to make my own cleaning solution. It even gives a shopping list on what is needed to make these special cleaning recipes!This book makes so much sense as it is an holistic and natural approach to cleaning and health! |Highly recommend this book.

The book is filled with some good information and quite innovative solutions for home cleaning , deodorizing, Sanitizing, Disinfectants & Spritzers for fighting with Germs, Bacteria, Fungal Infections, Viruses and Stains. This book may help you greatly with your EO blends. Very informative, very in depth on many uses, recipes and what the EO can be used for or with other oils. I recently have been introduced to EO and I am in love. So, I want to learn more and this book is doing just that.
