If you love dragons...
These are absolutely gorgeous! Here's a comparison to another deck. So you can see that they are following the RWS but w/o the original names. The cards don't seem flimsy like other review. They are about like regular cards maybe a tad thicker. Artwork is amazing and I love the back cover of cards. I displayed pics so you can compare. I hate when you can't see pics of the decks on the back. So here ya go! Dragon deck is red/black as shown on last pic.

Beautiful! But not for newbies.
I love this tarot deck it's spot on! The illustrations are wonderful and the energy of this tarot deck is strong and wise. I wouldn't advise this tarot for anyone that is just starting, for there no detail book that goes with it. Just a small general book.

Love it
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. The way the light and darkness of each card blends. I love dragons so, this deck was perfect for me. They guide book was simple to understand and how they explain about each card is simplistic. I love that. The 2 of wands looked like the dragon was staring onto my soul.

OK Tarot Deck, but Lacks Diversity
The tarot deck is okay, but the next iteration could be improved.First, there is no (human) nudity, so I found the cover art to be misleading. It's perfectly acceptable to have nude human chatacters in tarot decks, so I'm not what the reasoning was to omit them here, especially when the cover art was so suggestive. This is a bit more annoying: all the human characters are the same four people (the same four in all the minor arcana royal cards is very strange and off-putting), plus a few extras. Also, all the dragons depicted are sadly European dragons. What about my Asian (serpent-like), and South American (feathered) dragon brothers and sisters? I feel sad that they were left out of this tarot deck. For next time, I'd suggest to divide the suits and royal families by geographic region and elements. Middle eastern dragons could represent earth, European fire, Asian water, and South American air. The major arcana could be populated with the renowned dragons from these various regions.Overall this dragon deck is not bad and I'll definitely use it; there are just better alternatives out there that I'll be spending more time with.

When I first began in the occult field 40 years ago - I worked from a book in Dragon Magic. I even bought a Dragon Tarot deck (not this one) - although the images were not brilliant. I battled to learn Tarot with that deck and eventually gave it away.I have, however, loved dragons ever since my first ritual - even though my magical practices now span across Wicca, Advanced Qabalah and Angelic Magick, and Low & High Magick. This deck holds a great meaning for me, and I am very glad to have this deck in my collection. The illustrations are beautiful.

firey dragon deck
I love my new deck. It's beautiful. The art work is gorgeous and it's easy to shuffle and it's printed on good card stock as far as I'm concerned. It's like the dragons are actually alive and will jump out of the cards in a matter of seconds. All and all it is a great deck that I would recommend to my friends and other tarot readers. :)

An OK attempt to a western dragon themed tarot
The Draconis Tarot by Davide Corsi is a Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) themed tarot which focus on dragons of the western variety. This deck is beautifully illustrated with computer generated art work which takes direct inspiration from Tolkiens depiction of dragons in Middle Earth. However, this deck is marred by uninspired court cards. The front of these cards are bordered black with a picture frame colored for each suit (blue-cups, light green-coins, red-wands, gray-swords) or Major Arcana (gold). The back are also bordered black with golden frame on a red background and a round golden inlay emblem of a dragon. This deck lacks labels, using roman numbers on top and bottom for the Major Arcana, numbers on top and suit symbols on bottom for the Pip Cards and dragon symbols on top and suit symbols on bottom for the court card. The Major Arcana put the life journey of the Western/Tolkiens Dragon in center stage, from an unhatched egg on the Fool to a hatched egg on the World. This is punctuated in cards such as The Magician, The High Priestess, The Hierophant, Justice, The Hermit, The Hanged Man, Temperance, The Tower and The Star where a dragon replaces the typical human in an RWS inspired imagery. A few cards portrait the dragon as secondary figure, like The Empress and The Emperor, where the dragon seems to be bestowing a blessing on an armored Empress and Emperor, respectively. The Emperor and Empress later appear in The Chariot which is pulled by the two dragons.Yet, the imagery in The Lovers, a woman kissing a dragon, and The Strength, the same woman calming a dragon seems to strike just the right note for me. I also like the simple imagery in the Magician, a Dragon standing between four light columns of elemental energy; The Hanged Man, (a Dragon seemingly hanging from the tail) and the powerful imagery in Death, a skeletal dragon; and The Devil, a Balrog-like Dragon emerging from the fracturing earth by fire an lava with a reverse fiery pentacle in background. On the Minor Arcana, the suits are directly associated with the elements of water (cups), earth (pentacles), fire (wands) and air (swords). The suit symbols are incorporated within the imagery of each card like in the RWS tarot. The imagery on the pips sometimes dares to deviating from the traditional RWS. However, the Aces are no more than the head of the dragon blasting their associated element up. These seem to be blasting fire in blue, green and red colors for cups, pentacles and wands, respectively. At least, the Ace of swords seems to be blasting lighting.Unfortunately, the court cards are uninspired. The dragon became mere ornament on these. On top of that, the knave and the knight seems to be just standing there between two columns on a background colored by their element. The king and queen are sitting in thrones literally placed on their elements. While the Queen of Pentacles looks good sitting on a throne within a forest, the King of Swords looks weird sitting on a throne within the clouds. This deck comes with a Little White Book which presents a brief introduction to the Draconis Tarot and its inspiration and a descriptions of the cards in six languages: english, italian, spanish, french, german, and portuguese. With a bit of inspiration, this tarot could have rival my first choice in dragon themed tarots. As it is, I put this one behind the Celtic Dragon Tarot and the Dragons Tarot. However, it is not a bad tarot for my collection.

Good dragon renderings
Love the artwork and cardstock is good. Does not seem to work for me at all however as far as accuracy or being in tune, but this is a personal thing so I did not allow this to reflect in my 5 star score.
