Review: Perfect Replacement - Just installed this a few days ago and although I've had my phone apart before (making the back much easier to remove) this replacement went smooth as glass the tools provided are some of the nicest I've seen with any replacement part and so far its been perfect everything works and just as good as OEM quality, if your note 8 wont accept an OTG drive any longer or constantly warns of water in the charging port, odds are you've got a bad port causing your phone to wake unexpectedly and draining your battery this is the part and the place to get it. Perfect Replacement
Just installed this a few days ago and although I've had my phone apart before (making the back much easier to remove) this replacement went smooth as glass the tools provided are some of the nicest I've seen with any replacement part and so far its been perfect everything works and just as good as OEM quality, if your note 8 wont accept an OTG drive any longer or constantly warns of water in the charging port, odds are you've got a bad port causing your phone to wake unexpectedly and draining your battery this is the part and the place to get it.

Port worked, tools will not work
The charging port and philips screwdriver worked, but everything else is garbage. The suction cup was too small and weak to lift the back cover and even applying a lot of heat to soften the adhesive. I cracked the back cover trying to get it off. I had to use my windshield suction cup cell phone holder to get enough suction to start to lift the edge. The tools that are supposed to remove the adhesive and open the cover are cheap plastic. One snapped and other ended up stripping apart and not being useful. I had to use the flat head screwdriver to remove the adhesive, but since the cover was badly cracked, I decided to go nuts on just to get it off. I'll replace the back cover for $9 rather than try to salvage it. After doing some more research, I found out that a pick should be used to get the case off and this didn't include one.

Absolute Garbage
I tore my entire phone apart, only to conclude that this is a defective replacement part. It's missing a critical connection pin. From what I see it wasn't soldered on. I'm so infuriated with the low quality. Do not buy this garbage. Buy somewhere else!
