Can you just wash the filter and reuse it?

The filters are not washable. They will need to be vacuumed off once a month and replaced every 6-8 months. If further assistance is needed please contact us at yourfriends@guardiantechnologies.com or at 866-603-5900 X213 M-F 8:30-4:30 EST.

Do these produce harmful ozone because of the UV light technology?

It is my understanding that the addition of the titanium dioxide component catalyzes everything into water vapor and CO2 while also boosting the anti-bacterial/viral qualities. However, I have never replaced the UV-C light so I haven’t looked to see how long the titanium dioxide component lasts. (Anything that catalyzes has a “shelf-life” so to speak because all the material is used up.) Good question!

I just purchased a replacement filter flt4825. the new filter fits however the unit will not turn on. any advice?

Check the safety switch under the bottom edge of the filter, be sure that the filter is engaging and pressing the switch down all the way. (also, the latch from the back panel needs to engage another safety switch) If you need additional assistance, contact yourfriends@guardiantechnologies.com or call 1-866-603-5900

If I buy the two-quantity pack, do they come individually packaged?

Yes, each unit will come individually boxed in one larger box. If further assistance is needed please contact us at yourfriends@guardiantechnologies.com or at 866-603-5900 X213 M-F 8:30-4:30 EST.
