I bought this blade and wasn't sure if it only does crosscuts or is it designed to rip also? I know it has more teeth so I take it will go slower.

This blade is designed for crosscuts. It works great in my chop saw on trim, both square and miter cuts. I use the Freud LM75R010 for most ripping on my table saw, but also look at the LM74R010 and LM72R010 depending on your need.

Will this blade fit my crafstman table saw

In addition to the arbor size, you need to consider the thickness of your table saw's riving knife and you'll want to make sure to select a blade whose kerf is slightly thicker than the riving knife. For example, a 0.098" kerf blade should not be used on a saw with a riving knife 0.102" wide.

How are cuts with this blade on base boards and trim? Don't have answer if you haven't done so.

I have used it to cut floor boards, baseboards, 1/4 round trim, crown molding, framing studs, plywood, pine maple, oak, cedar, ash, cherry, knotty pine..... So much wood and still cuts like a hot knife through butter

what is the hook angle on this blade?
