everything was as expected, good tube, for the price.

When I needed to replace a beautiful but impractical clawfoot tub in an older house, my challenge was in finding something reasonably priced and nice looking that would fit into a smaller than standard space. I came across a few small tubs designed for RVs but they were all made of fiberglass. This Bootz tub is porcelain covered metal - a much better choice in my opinion.I had a few problems with the initial order....although the tub came on time as promised, the item that was delivered was a different brand, size and drain direction from what I ordered. I'm not sure how that happened but when I reported it, the seller was responsive in replacing it with the correct tub within a week. The Bootz tub is now installed and I'm very happy with it. It's a good looking tub and fits perfectly in the space.

Pros: The price was much less than what I was expecting to pay. I should have known.Cons: Had I noticed the flaws when it arrived I would have rejected it. 1-Inside the tub the porcelain had a spot the size of a pea chipped off down to bare metal. I had to clean it and apply an epoxy porcelain repair solution to fill the spot. 2-There is a blemish the size of a dollar coin on the porcelain inside the tub next to the overflow hole. its rippled but not showing bare metal. 3-the back lip of the tub that is covered by wall board or tub enclosure was bent in one spot and the porceline was chiping off and spider cracks around it. the tub enclosure covered the area. I just hope years down the road it doesn't rust out and become visible or start leaking behind the tub. 4-Worse of all, the 4 corners of the tub are lower than the rim and so splash water pools in the back corners and water run onto the floor on the front corners, instead of flowing back into the tub. I put in a tub enclosure when I installed this tub and when I am done taking a shower I have to wipe down the shower walls and sop up the back corners because I suspect the pooled water is dripping onto the floor behind the tub where I cant get to it without tearing everything back out again.Poor quality and workmanship.

perfect condition upon arrival. love the wide size. looks great in space and would highly recommend.

The tub came to our location damaged, both the packaging and the item were damaged. Totally inadequate packaging from the manufacturer!

AWESOME and FAST!

AWFUL!! The first one we got the box was practically falling apart I didn't have to do much to open it and the tub was dented and chipped In multiple areas so I returned it for a new one and the second one our UPS man wouldn't even deliver because it was so damaged! I really like the fact it was made in the US but I'm disappointed with the shipping.

This tub was exactly what we wanted.
