The Fender Squier Affinity Strat HSS IL MBK electric guitar has a derailleur body to which a screwed maple neck connects. The guitar is equipped with a powerful humbucker and two single coils and thus provides a variety of sound possibilities. Rosewood fingerboard has 21 jumbo medium frets marked with dot inlays A synchronised tremolo for extensive insulating is particularly noteworthy. Thanks to its elegant Montego black finish, this electric guitar is a real eye-catcher. Series: Affinity. Body: Alder neck: maple, screwed frets: 21, Jumbo Medium scale: 648 mm. Pickups: 1 x Humbucker, 2 x Single Coil controls: 1 x Metallic, 2 x Tone Dot Electronics: 5-way switch: bridge layer: synchronised tremolo handles: hardware Review: Superb quality - Delivered yesterday, very well packaged, as if straight from Squier. The finish and appearance is great! The initial setup was excellent: neck relief, string height, intonation, no fret buzz or sharp ends, all perfect. Tremolo springs very tight, but that helps initial tuning without tremolo. Also, the bridge screws were tightened right down. They need to be loosened before attempting to use the tremolo, and the springs loosened right off to achieve a floating bridge. Pickups sound OK, but positions 2 and 4 are a bit muddy when I was expecting brighter. Tone controls a little insignificant. Overall, excellent value for money and a good beginner's guitar. Review: Every true aspiring guitarist needs something like this. - Just received this today. And since I had done my research I was nervous about buying a guitar without having handled it. My choice was an instrument to hone my skills on. Maintaining and modding as well as time exploration. Don’t expect a £900 finish but do expect a gorgeous guitar which will be incredibly easy to work on. Perfect to turn into my main blues fuzz machine.

SPOT THE DIFFERENCE
GUITAR NERDS/EXPERTS can tell you the difference but I cant spot the difference between a Squier Affinity strat and the real thing – except the price. This is a quality build guitar that plays beautifully and has all the standard Fender adjustment capabilities. Prompt seller and perfect on arrival. Recommended

Really great for beginners
I'm using this guitar with Garageband and I can get some great tones. It's quite good to play it and it's really light weight.

Fantastica

Great guitar for the price
I've had the pleasure of owning and playing the Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster in Montego Black Metallic for a while now, and it has genuinely exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Here's why: 1. Playability: From the moment I picked it up, the comfort and ease of play stood out. The laurel fingerboard feels smooth under the fingers, allowing for effortless transitions between chords and fluid lead lines. 2. Durability: Despite regular use, this Strat has held up remarkably well. It's been a trustworthy companion, maintaining its integrity and tuning stability even during extended jamming sessions. 3. Weight & Comfort: The lightweight design is a blessing, especially during longer gigs or practice sessions. It sits comfortably against the body, reducing any strain on the shoulder or back. 4. Aesthetic Appeal: The Montego Black Metallic finish is nothing short of stunning. It gleams under stage lights and draws attention with its refined elegance. The photos online do not do it justice; it's a beauty to behold in person. I own several guitars and this one is the only one I've actually received compliments about. 5. Sound: Last but not least, the tonal qualities of this Squier Strat are impressive. It delivers a range of sounds that cater to various genres, from crisp cleans to gritty overdriven tones. It holds its ground against many higher-priced competitors. In summary, this Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster isn't just an affordable option but a high-quality instrument that delivers in both form and function. Whether you're a beginner looking for a reliable first guitar or an experienced player seeking a dependable backup, this Strat is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!
