It uses this oval shape and had lost all of the original pieces. When I put these on, the mouse required more effort to move than I would have expected. Then I realized I had not removed the clear plastic protective covers. DUH! Once removed, the mouse moved like it was on ice. I really have to watch because it moves so easily that I can actually miss the target and have to slow down a little. I expect they will wear in a little at some point. Been using these for a few weeks for work, so they get a REAL workout. No issues yet. When I was applying these, I noticed they came off the paper really easy. I questioned the adhesive and wondered if they would stay on. I realize now the paper has a wax type coating on it so they will come off easy and the adhesive has been good so far. I did clean the mouse well with alcohol to remove any oil, dirt, or other contaminates. I recommend anyone else do the same. Great product so far. Definitely recommend.
