I am so happy !! This key fits perfectly in my antique secretary. The original key was lost shortly after my aunt’s death. It’s been haunting me for years. This is the 3rd time I’ve ordered keys and finally this one works. The desk now looks complete ! The main use, is to just open the top. I don’t have to use my fingernails anymore. It’s just as sturdy as the original. Has a little weight to it. It does lock the fold down desk as well as the 4 drawers. As you can see, it matches perfectly. No one will be able to tell it’s not the original. Who knew a little key could make me so happy!

My husband bought me a vintage secretary desk at an estate sale. It is lovely, but the key was missing. I didn't want the key to lock the desk, but to serve as a handle to open the drop leaf. I went to both the locksmiths in town, and neither one could help me. So I tried good old reliable Amazon, and here was just what I was looking for! I took a chance this would fit a 1910 Victorian style dining room cabinet after trying many skeleton keys borrowed from friends that didn't work. It has a hollow center that many of the other keys did not. It’s handsome, sturdy, and works like a charm! I just leave it in the keyhole because it looks nice with the dark finish.

It works!! Over 2 years ago, I relocated to a new location and lost the key to my antique secretary, which was locked. I saw this key offered on Amazon and thought I’d see if it would work in my secretary. It did, and I am thrilled!!

The oak curved glass front curio cabinet that I bought, did not have a key. Instead of buying a whole new lock and key, I decided to give this a try. I was pleasantly surprised when it worked!

While the key was as described, it did not fit the lock. My error, not that of the provider.
