These are very good. taste like home made snow cream. I was losing all my muscle. these have helped. I really like that they only have 1 gm of sugar and are low calories. I would recommend these for anyone who for whatever reason are losing muscle or trying to add muscle.

This protein drink is delicious. It doesn't taste like the regular ensure. The one with the high calories and sugar.I love vanilla flavor, bur there's a few other flavor to pick from. I feel great after drinking one. And it's just 1g of sugar and loaded with vitamins. I recommend it.

Could have a little more Vanilla flavoring for me, personally, but it is overall a very good drink. No chunks or sludge as I've encountered with other products. I do like a strong vanilla flavor so I add a few drops of vanilla extract or a tiny bit of simple syrup I've made but overall one of my favorite options after trying several brands.

My husband, who is 74, went through a health crisis brought about by a throat injury this last year, and as a result lost 30 lbs and a lot of muscle mass rather quickly. He weighed only 172 lbs to start with, and had been extremely physically fit all his life. Coping with the injury to his throat was challenging enough, but suddenly feeling old and weak and sickly, I know, was just as difficult for a man who, up until then, still felt strong and “young”. His doctor suggested he try drinking Ensure Max Protein. I’m so glad he did! Within a very short time, my husband regained 18 of the 30 lbs he had lost and we began to see his muscles bulking up again. I was motivated to write this review tonight when I noticed his biceps BULGING from his tshirt! He’s not quite back where he once was (he is 74, after all) but he’s come a long way in only six or seven months! Best of all, he’s FEELING better, stronger and more like himself again! So this review isn’t about the taste or convenience or consistency of Ensure Max Protein but about the fact that, in my husband’s case at least, it actually does what it says it will do. Oh yes, it’s a little pricey, but worth every penny to us!

My doctor recommended I drink these before surgery. I started then, but keep them on hand for a quick easy breakfast or lunch when I know I won’t get a lot of protein that day. The taste isn’t bad alone, but I usually put them in my ninja with some fruit—a banana and cocoa, some blueberries, or whatever fresh or frozen fruit I have on hand. It would be 5 stars if the taste was just a little better. I updated this fron 4 to 5 starts because I’ve discovered new ways to drink Ensure. I’ve been getting vanilla now. I mix it half and half with coffee and add cinnamon and nutmeg. It’s good either cold over ice or hot. It tastes just like a Starbucks skinny vanilla latte, only with a lot of protein and a lot less cost. Try it!

Tastes too sweet! It says no sugar, but they must have loaded it with other sweeteners. I am adding my own whey protein powder for an extra boost. This is only a trial for me. I will think about it before reordering.
