I know your cppap machine has a filter that you should change monthly. But I figure that just another form of filtration couldn’t hurt. So I use these. My wife says she can really tell the difference in the air quality with these. When I change them monthly they are a grayish color like the small ones that are in the machine. So they do work. I will keep on using them for my wife’s machine.

If you are reading this review, I will tell you that this is a well-made filter that fits my Resmed's hoses easily. If you ask me whether this filter does anything, I will tell you that I do not know. It seems to trap airborne contaminants, from the discoloration of the filter media, but I cannot make any specific claims regarding its efficacy. In the end, this product might make my CPAP experience more beneficial.

I started using these about 2 years ago and was really surprised at how much "STUFF" they captured and prevented me from inhaling during sleep. Of course I have filters on my CPAP and they work well but not well enough. The filters on the CPAP filter air coming into the CPAP machine during operation but these filters capture particles that escape the initial filtration. These prevent missed particles that flow from the CPAP machine through the hose and into the lungs. Every time I change them I am reminded that without them that stuff would be in my lungs. I highly recommend them for every CPAP user. It does require a specific lid for the water tank but they are able to be reused from tank to tank.

My rating is solely based on my ability to use the filters. They are very well made and properly packaged. Nice looking filters actually. I connected one to my CPAP the day I got them. I tried to use for about 4 nights and finally had to disconnect it. There just isn't enough air coming through the CPAP for me. Now I say this because I wouldn't want some to have a negative idea about these filters. I have severe sleep apnea and my CPAP is on 15 so it's pretty high. I had to go from a 13 to a 15 because it wasn't enough, so I am thinking that's what is happening with these filters for me. Like I said before, they are very well made. I wish I could have used them.

I like this product and will buy again, but I did need to slightly increase my pressure setting. It blocks some of the air but I feel it needs to do that to better filter the air.
