Box itself has some knicks and marks. Product itself is pristine, no breaks or scratches. Ink is decent but I love the pen. It writes so nicely, clean and bold, good feel and flow. I've only used a couple glass pens, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but the experience has been good, and the price is right. Recommended. Inspect for cracks and maybe get your own ink, but the pen is good. Review: Easy decision. Very useful - Beyond happy!! If you are starting the fountain pen addiction, this is a must have. Unless I misunderstood this question and you are asking if it has like like pencil lead...but that's a no too. **Q: How do I put the ink in the pen?** A: You dont put ink “in” this glass pen, its one solid piece. Like old calligraphy quills, you just dip the tip of the pen into ink and start writing. Of corse several dips into the ink are necessary while in use, you will start to be able to gauge the needed amount of ink you use when writing. **Q: Approximately, what is the size of the write point? 0.7 mm?** A: On mine it’s between a 0.5mm and a 7.0mm. Each one varies. **Q: Is the pen complete when it arrives home?** A: It comes in a box and is well preserved. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good pen *by H***R on March 17, 2026* Well packaged for safe delivery. If you are starting the fountain pen addiction, this is a must have. My pen came in perfect condition and is beautiful. I’ve written for several days with it using ink I use in my fountain pens. Perfect for writing. Cursive writing is clean with no skipping. I don’t print much. This dip pen has also allowing me to use ink I don’t have in pens. Too fun!! I will say, be careful with this. I’m thinking of buying another (because why not)! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great glass pen. *by J***N on August 13, 2025* I really love writing with this glass pen. It writes smoothly with no hang ups. And I love that the way it leaves ink on the paper. And o appreciate that it comes with a bottle of ink although, it’s not the best ink for this type of pen. I’ve had great success with Speedballs India ink. Calligraphy inks don’t flow as well for me. ## Frequently Bought Together - AOKUY Glass Dip Pen Set,Calligraphy Pen,Crystal Signature Pen for Art, Writing, Signatures -Decoration and Business Gift - Glass Ink Pen Set, Luxiv Glass Dip Pen with Ink and Pen Holder Art Crystal Glass Pens for Signatures, Business Christmas Gift Glass Ink Pens (Purple, Basic) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/114065628-glass-dip-pen-set-calligraphy-pen-crystal-signature-pen-art](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/114065628-glass-dip-pen-set-calligraphy-pen-crystal-signature-pen-art) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
