How is this ink different from previous version of datone fountain pen ink?

These are darker and brighter ink. Most importantly ink flow is much better than normal Daytone ink.

What's the difference between this ink and the normal 15 color pack available at a lesser price

the ink quality is better, it does not smudge on the paper, the flow is also smooth, the ink is darker...

I know this is extra fine nib ink; but can I use it with medium nib? I really want to use this ink as it is darker but I don't like fine nib pens 😢

Sure it can. I am also using medium nib pens. These inks are darker and brighter than normal inks with great flow except Cerulean blue.
