I took two bottles of this, in addition to two bottles of Candibactin BR and it definitely helped reduce chronic bloating and with the feeling of food sitting in my stomach all day.If I skip a day of taking these It's like all my normal symptoms return.It does not completely get rid of bloating that occurs with caffeine and/or carbs, soy, wheat, and other hard to digest foods. Overall I am happy with the product although I will not continue to take it due to the price.On my second round of Candibactin AR and BR I took capryllic acid, ac formula II and anatril for a couple weeks but they didn't make any difference in help with symptoms.Candibactin AR and BR work just well on their own without the additional supplements.

I had just been diagnosed with SIBO and combined with my other issues I was so ill. The doctor prescribed Rifaximin but I have other conditions that react badly to antibiotics. So I asked for natural recommendations and they mentioned Oregano oil. I googled natural SIBO cures and saw a study on the National Institute of Health.gov website. The study listed both CandiBactin-AR and BR as alternatives. According to the study, they worked as well as Rifaximin. I ordered one and then realized I needed to have both, that they work together. I was a little taken back at the expense, but compared to $2,500 quoted by my Pharmacy for Rifaximin that my insurance would not cover and it is not approved by the FDA according to the Pharmacist, it was a good deal because I feel more energy. So much better than before, I still have some other issues, and it took a week to see results for me, I was praying so hard that it would work. I highly recommend this.

was very happy (and relieved) to receive these directly from the Metagenics company, both the AR & BR labeled with "Practitioner Exclusive" on bottles. I was a little bit apprehensive about ordering these off amazon. This will be my second time treating my SIBO unfortunately, after not following through with after treatment protocol and finding out I had an H Pylori infection which needed addressing first. But these REALLY work. I had hydrogen dominant sibo, and after about a week of detox and die off reactions, started feeling SO much better and all my histamine related issues vanished, eczema cleared up, most other symptoms and body systems started balancing. It seemed miraculous! I'm looking forward to retreating after H Pylori protocol and getting back to feeling good again :) These are strong and it's important to follow a protocol suited to you after treatment to heal gut lining and rebalance probiotic bacteria. My doctor had me take 2 of each 2x day with meals. I follow Dr. Nirala Jacobi's Bi-phasic diet. Things I highly recommend for sibo treatment and to do your research on:simple, natural *capsule free* prokinetics:-fresh ginger tea at least 2x day (between meals)-triphala powder, 1/4-1/2 tsp 2x day (between meals)continue prokinetics after treatment! bitters are also greatmilk thistle 150mg 1-3x day for liver/detox supportconsider biofilm breakers if severe sibo gas levels, but I don't think they're always necessary. note things like ginger, coconut oil, black cumin seed oil are natural biofilm breakersactivated charcoal and/or bentonite clay for 4-5 days first week and third week of treatment to help "mop up" die offsacharomyces boulardiiturmeric tea or supplement, taken with fatblack cumin seed oil for histamine intolerance, also antimicrobial (make sure to eat lots of omega 3s, as it's high in omega 6)other things that really helped my histamine intolerance were lots of fresh herbs, quercetin, and Ancestral Supplements desiccated kidney (high in DAO, selenium)also if you're missing garlic on low fodmap/sibo diet, I make crushed garlic infused olive oil which is great to drizzle on things and also has antimicrobial propertiesthe only things I have to complain about is the price of these on amazon is completely unreasonable. I got these from my doctor for ~$60-70 each, and would have again if it wasn't a long drive. also I REALLY wish companies, especially well researched driven ones like this would STOP using TOXIC fillers, excipients, coatings like hypromellose and magnesium stearate which is in the BR formula. but this is highly effective and treatment is WAY more important that avoiding those things.

Capsules are all stuck firmly together making it impossible to use this product. I asked for a got a refund.

I decided to take this product because I know it's a great company and because of the study by Gerald Mullins, MD of Johns Hopkins that I read about on one of the reviews. It's google-able, so can be found online.I did a microbiome test by Thorne and they found that I had an overgrowth of some bad bacteria and yeast.So, I started taking this along w/some other products recommended by Thorne. [Pre-fiber, fiber, probiotics and prebiotics etc.]The thing about killing stuff in your gut is - it dies and then your body has to get rid of it. sometimes the body gets overwhelmed by the bad guys, even when they're dead. its called a HERX reaction. also google-able if you don't know what it is.so, if you feel badly after taking this product, it could be because of a HERX reaction and not because the product is faulty in any way. the opposite. its doing its job, ie killing the bad stuff.I would suggest starting slowly. 1 a day for a few days, then 2 a day if things are going ok.Also, food grade clay and food grade charcoal are also supposed to help get the bad stuff out. I'm not a doctor or medical professional. do your own research.I do detox baths, either clay + seaweed or epsom salts sometimes w/charcoal. that's a great way to detox because the bad stuff comes out your skin too, and it can get alot out in one bath.So, know that getting rid of the bad stuff in your gut takes a while. it's a marathon and not a sprint. start very slowly, work up to the suggested dose gradually.Since I did the test and have been following the recommendations and taking these products, I feel alot better, which means alot. I still think I have several more weeks to go, I'll get another microbiome test and see what that says.Best of luck!!
