I bought this as a gift for my nephew so he could learn the game of golf and he absolutely loves this set. He is 18 months, but tall for his age. They are still a little big for him, but he is understanding the concept of the club and ball. As for the "hole", well he likes to put that on his head and act like it is a hat.

My son has really enjoyed having this. We live in a NYC apartment where space is at a premium, and this tucks nicely into the corner by his toy box. He doesn't use the cart much, but it provides a great place to store the clubs and balls so they don't get mixed up with all of the other toys. Turns out the clubs are great not just for hitting the golf balls around, but are great for imaginary play - they've been robot arms, skis, bridges, levers, all sorts of things. The oversized balls are age appropriate. And after a few months of use, everything is holding up nicely. Assembly was a snap, and it's been fun to use indoors. If we had outdoor space, I'm sure he'd be loving playing with it in the grass outside.

My husband is an avid golfer/golf lover. I go this set for him/our 18-month-old as a father-son Father's Day gift. My husband said it was the same as one he had as a kid, though perhaps in a different color. He thought it was a good way for our son to learn the basic mechanics of golf--at least at this stage until he is ready for "real" clubs. The putter makes sense to me. Not sure how much value there is in the chipping wedge. Maybe on higher pile carpet??? Both the putter and wedge are hollow plastic, same as the ball, so they're pretty light, making it hard/odd to hit the ball on a carpet that gives resistance. Don't expect it to feel like swinging a solid club. Doesn't hold his attention much by himself, but my son does enjoy hitting the ball around when we bring it up and set stuff up to or him. By himself he prefers just dragging the "golf bag" around, but I think that is developmentally appropriate.

My toddler loves this! It's held up for about a year now - we loved it so much we bought one to have at each grandparent's house! Not too heavy for him and it's easy to store!

Very good quality toy. I am sure we will get many years out of it. It is sturdy and well made and easy to assemble. It comes with 3 balls and my one year old nephew loves it. The little cart is fun for him to but things in and roll it around .
