I have no worries about my eye shadows getting crushed in my drawer or if I toss it in my bag when I'm on the go. It fits 9 shadows. The bottom is magnetic and will hold any magnetic pans (individual shadows) or if you have a piece of magnetic tape on the bottom. The top seals with a strong magnet that keeps my shadows from dirt and dust. I love the clear window on top. I can easily see what's inside. It's about half the size of the large z palette. If you have shadows with magnets on the back they will slip and slide (such as MAC pro pans) though this is a fault of the eyeshadow company rather than the z palette. With regular magnetic pans they hold firm and won't budge even if held upside down. Great quality.
