It is thin and the fabric is hard and rough. I'm assuming that it will soften after use and washes. It's still good if you put it in between a sheet and another blanket. Definitely not like a blanket you would find in a hospital, it's a cheap attempt at copying them. So the only way you will get a nice hospital blanket is if you manage to nab one the next time you are at a hospital.

Much smaller than I thought it was going to be. It barely covers a double-size mattress by a little under two inches of material that drapes over the edges of the top of the mattress.Otherwise, it's really warm and made of very sturdy material. It works nicely for me.It's a little rough at first, but with several washes it softens up nicely.Just be aware of it's size before ordering.

blanket is very, very light weight. I think of it more like a bedspread than a blanket. having worked with patients for 30 years, I do not think even one patient would have thought of it as a blanket, much less a thermal blanket.

By snag free they mean lots of snags. Otherwise a pretty good blanket. Not lightweight.

This is exactly what I wanted. It is much heavier than I thought and the quality is wonderful. It is short on the sides, only covers the top of my queen bed but I believe it will stretch after washing. If it doesn't it still is great. Great value for the money paid.

I can take anywhere, easy to clean and I don't have to use my electric blanket OR electric mattress pad. I can't get in a color.
