Absolutely good , should have purchased this long ago instead of trying various teflon coated non-sticks. The inner size is eight inches totally almost nine plus along with the edges. Heavy weighted as mentioned, it doesn't stick even when using for the first time.

I have used this tawa for the past 5 years and it is a very good, durable tawa for dosas. Can also be used in the oven. And the pre seasoning makes it easier to begin using the tawa! Fantastic product worth every rupee!👌

The quality is not acceptable
The quality has deteriorated. They now seem to dump second quality and rejects. I had got tawa with two pits of appreciable size. The surface is not smooth. I have returned

Not as heavy as lodge yet sturdy enough for a cast iron skillet. Cleaning is easy, scrubbed it clean and seasoned it twice(pic included).Once seasoned, dosa slides like a charm. Makers say it is Oven friendly, might try making 🍕.First time when we cleaned it with mild soap, the water ran black but that's okay. It is normal and didn't happen the next time around.Update- after a year of using this skillet, it is still going strong. Made chapattis and dosas and U can also stick this in ur oven, made 🍕 as well.

Need a 10" dosa tawa for practical purposes.
The tawa itself is very good. It is way too small for a dosa and the 12" one is way too large for the stove. I hope Rock comes up with 10" or a 10.5" "tawa". It took me about 2 rounds of seasoning with flaxseed oil, and 10 scoops of dosa batter (before each I rubbed a half cut onion dipped in flaxseed oil) to get perfect dosas.
