Review: Not for everybody but works for me - I bought this external drive as a backup for a laptop. I liked it's small size and small price. The small capacity (120 GB) is not so much of a problem for me in this application. It gets hot I noticed the outside case was always warm to the touch. This is a common issue with SSD drives, apparently (I have a Western Digital SSD that is also warm.) But Crystal Disk Info showed the interanl temperature to reach 77 deg C (170 deg F). Since most manufacturers list 70C as the max temperature, I was ready to send this unit back. But when I hooked it up to the computer for which I bought it, it ran at a lower temp, between 55 & 60C. It's slow Crystal Disk Mark showed it's read speed to be around 300MB/sec, write speed a bit faster. While a modern standard spinning HDD runs at a bit less than 100, my WD SSD will do 500MB/sec. However, I'm only doing incremental backups once an hour, so speed is not critical, and the drive is in standby (not operating) most of the time. So far, it works fine for what I need. I'll keep it.
Review: Very good worth it - The harddisk is very good sleek and fast data transfer.
