I use to make my own filters out of water bottles, these are perfect. looks way better get the same filtration if not more. I put one in every tank in my fish room. Some i take out k1 and add ceramic media.

Let it soak over night before turning air on.Took 2 days to fully start to roll the media.Sad that you cant find a replacement airstone.Has seen online others running without one.

Read this before you buy.
This works as should. This is exactly the same filter as the QANVEE. My only complaint is that the Powkoo only comes with half the media that the QANVEE comes with. For the same price. Should have just got another QANVEE.
