Sonor Drums SSE 13 MARTINI TGS 4-Piece Drum Shell Pack, Retro Emerald Isle/Turquoise Galaxy Sparkle

I bought this drum set for my 11 year old son for Christmas and I'm just now putting it together since it did not come with instructions. If your not familiar with putting together drums like me, than it can be very confusing even when looking at online videos (of which there are none for Sonor). I finally just went off a picture and have now come to realize that one of the snare is missing the attachments, very disappointed as my son has been eager to play this first time set. Photos are deceiving even though the set does indicate that symbols and hardware not included. But you would think it would include hardware for the snare featured on the photo. I now have to buy symbols, hardware for snare and a bass drum pedal. Overall quality of drums is good, but for cost everything should be included.

Lovely little set. Like most low cost drums, it would benefit from better heads.It is tiny, though, more so than I imagined. If you are considering it for gigging, look closely at the drum sizes first.The bass drum has a strange stand attachment on the bottom to allow it to use a normal pedal. This stand works fine, but it took some work to get the pedal on the first time because it was a tight fit.

Perfect for the smaller venues that we have to play in these days. Did some work on the bass drum and it sounds pretty good considering its size. I'll put a mic on it to help it out a bit. The toms sound great and I'm looking forward to the first gig with the kit in a couple of weeks.

Sound great. The snare drum the highlight!Only complaint is the 13" floor tom is too close the the bass drum in pitch. I think a better choose would have been if SONOR used a 12" x 12" tom as the floor tom.

I was wowed when I realized what a powerful sound I could get out of the 8X8.The bass drum kicks as well. I play it with no muffling at all.This set includes a snare drum. Most mini kits do not.I usually don't prefer metal snare drums but this snare has a nice crisp, hollow sound to it.It will cut through anything.I'm using all Paiste on it including a classic 16 inch 602 flat ride.When you consider the snare drum, this kit is the best deal on the market!

They're ok. Just a bit like a fancified kiddie drumset basically.

Mine came defective.. But it is a good drum.

These drums look sharp as a tack, they're quite serviceable in a small club setting and they're great for rehearsal and jam rooms. I haven't run across anyone yet who doesn't think that they're super-cool.

the image is not what you get, you dont get the stands and the crashes. so the image is misleading.
