Would this work for salmon and trout at the great lakes?

Perfect for those coho and kings at the river mouths

is there only 1 lure or 5 of them?

There are five jigs fishing lures at a plastic box,you will get 5 of them.

Dose this lure work good in rivers?

Works great in our reservoir and I would think they would work the same in rivers.

Is the design on both sides ?

Yes, design on both sides and they are fish catchers. I replaced the cheap treble hooks with quality single 2/0 size hook on a 200# assist cord setup. If jigging like I do in deep water 60-100+ feet, these are killer jigs rigged as described for inshore drop-off's. Hope this helped.

Great Lure

As an avid salt water lure angler I was very impressed with this lure when shore jigging - they have produced many fish and consistently they have a great action.

Nice,

It’s nice for the price you pay, you need to change the hooks or add hook assist, colours fads after couple of time you use them , but still managed to catch lots of fish with it😋
