Nope. All the humans were sent to the medical server and what's left is NPCs in Runner's game.
The abortion of Red's child was tough, the evil act of destroying a soul to murder multiple thousands was wrong on many levels, and the very overpowered MC is hard to relate to. The MC can only be hurt mentally--not physically--but even then the very last chapter ruined that. It was all deus ex machina by a god just because. And finally the "baby in the king cake", every single character in these books are NPC code in the Otherlife game set the world of the author's other books. They are all Runner's playthings and not even "real" people. So that ruined these books and managed to ruin Super Sales on Super Heroes. I guess on the bright side, since they're all NPC AI code except Runner, it's a cute dream story. As an aside: I suspect that his other series Dungeon Disposed is also an Otherlife shard of NPCs.

Skeptical about the heading of the series...
I'm not entirely sure I'm loving the direction the author is going (under Darren and Arand). He's trying to tie in all of his works into a cohesive universe that, I'm not entirely sure works for this particular series or Super Sales series.Drawing on Otherlife for a kind of Deus Ex Machina worked in moderation (Fostering Faust, Super Sales on Super Heroes #1), but this installment of Wild Wastes is beginning to feel kinda like cheating on the authors part.Despite that, it was a (mostly) good story. One additional quibble: Darren needs to provide a map so the boundaries of the various areas can be seen a bit more clearly. I got lost a few times with directions and I never like going back in a book just to find out where the hell the MC is supposed to be...

Things are heating up!
This book is a amelioration from the last one where Vince was just rolling with the situation (and his wives), but still I felt that he was a victim of the situation. This book felt also more like a cross over! And Felix from Super Sales for Superheroes appear and save Vince hide and vice versa. Can't wait to read the side of Felix story to see what Vince helped to save!

Holy. Moly.
Firstly, the thanks at the end is for Fostering Faust, kind of funny if you think about it.Now the review,!!!!!THIS!!!!!!SPOILER WARNING:This freaking book, oh my god is this the culmination of all the theories, the books, everything. Easter eggs turn into canon lore, and intertwined everything and the end, OH MY GOD I JUST WANT MORE. Consider me greedy, and greedy and greedy, but these books are amazing. I can’t be disappointed by the author. Damn. Read every book by this guy, then read this one. Gahhh! 10/10/10/10/10 ahh

Too much Crossover weakened the overall Story's impact
Too much "crossover" made the book's plot feel sloppy and forced. On the positive side it was a good place to conclude a trilogy with most issues covered. On the negative side, it felt like the author drank a few beers too many and asked himself: "If I took the characters from all of the three (3) worlds I am writing about and dropped in the book what would happen?" Answer, it just felt like cameo appearances just to make an appearance...

Good book, terrible epilogue
Frenetic energy from beginning to end, lots of things happen. A few, minor criticisms; Vince goes 5 years without a new wife, then I think 5 in a few months; which means almost no time for the old wives. Still, I would have given 5 stars except for the... Epilogue. The author uses the term Deus Ex Machina to describe the epilogue, literally, God From The Machine. Fitting, as it is a plot device that makes no sense, one where the author wants a an outcome, but doesn't want to put in the effort to make it fit into the world and story.Take my advice, unless there is another book in this series, don't read the epilogue. Beginning of a larger story... via crossover.
First thing's first, make sure to read Super Sales on Super Heros first. With this book, we begin a cross-over that will make relatively little sense (though passably enough) without having read volumes 1 and 2 of that series in advance. On the other hand, this also clearly hints at a volume 3 of that series that I'm now desperate to read. This book continues where the others have left off: the number of women Vince cares about continues to grow. The number of responsibilities get heavier. The limitations of his skill set become clearer, even as his on skill set becomes more potent. In other words, lots of killing, and lots of sex, and lots of being the biggest badass around.

Gold
I’ve always enjoyed the Wild Waste series, from the first book where Vince started building his family, then the second book when he started establishing his city state. Now in the Southern Storm, Vince must work to protect everything he has worked for. Vince is a great main character, he is funny, brave, kind and ruthless. Don’t mess with Vince! The supporting cast is as interesting as any series developed. Southern Storm has non stop action and new relationships.Randi Darren has a good thing going, hopefully there’s another Wild Waste book in the future.

I feel the plot was changed heavily halfway through writing
The book is amazing at the start but I feel lost halfway through with cameos of other novels then trusting it forward with the progress of the war witch is a mess I'm not sure if it's ment to be that way but I feel that it was poorly written as it progresses on being pushed back or moving forward is just confusion at its finestWhat I'm trying to say is that it was originally ment to be different the first 2 books were about slavery and a free city/country this isn't about that at all it's just a country attack another that has the power of having 6 odd armys if you had that sort of power on your next door you would monitor it.I know if you read this your like it's a fantasy book it's not ment to realistic I know that but the first 2 were that gritty details like slaves being ordered to die this it's just I feel it was forced he had a different direction but made it this way.

Amazing Series
All three books where amazing to read the story was great, the characters where fantastic the way they entwined and grew and new characters were being added all the time as a series and a book I would only really give it at the moment 4.8stars unless there are more books in this series and I hope there are their seems to be so many open or unfinished storylines apart from all of that it is Still worth reading

A nice continuation of a series.
A good continuation of the series, though at times the situation felt to be binary - either very good or very bad for out hero. The tie-in's with the other novels by the author was nice touch, especially with Runner at the end.
