**Q: I didn't get directions with this! How many for what size? Also, someone asked if size refers to trunk diameter or whole palm. What is "whole palm?"**
A: The direction is on the site with the product. Just scroll down to the product description. The number of spikes needed is measured by the circumference (measure how big around) of the trunk. My opinion is always fertilizing as far as the leaves extend out. You don't want to get too close to the base..

**Q: Does the fertilizer spike contain micronutrients including:  manganese, magnesium, potassium, iron, and copper sulfates?**
A: I think it saved my tree. I bought 6 for a huge Washingtonian palm I bought. It was 2' now it is 40'. IDK. Tree experts charge $600 for fertilizer.

**Q: How should unused spikes be stored? Are there any requirements other than keeping them dry?**
A: I don’t think there’s anything special you need to do as far as storage. Just need to keep them dry.

**Q: I have an 8' by 2' bed of cane palms (perhaps 50 palms) ranging in size from less than 1" to over 2" in diameter. How many spikes should I use?**
A: 1 on each side total of 2 stakes
