The media could not be loaded.  I liked the easy way to find it on Amazon, and the item was to make work my swimming pool heater.

I bought this to replace my old thermostat that was acting up last year. This unit included the temperature probe which I was hesitant to replace. Once I removed the top of the heater (a bunch of hex screws) and uncovered the cast head where the water comes in and out, I found where the probe was inserted. After prying the old probe out a bit, I cut off the old washer so I could get better access. I could then use a screwdriver to pry it out a bit more. Then I used a large vise grip that was loose around the probe, but would contact the collar on the probe. Using a hammer, I tapped on the vise grip and the old probe came out clean. Inserting the new probe involved using the loose vise grip on the other side of the collar along with the hammer to tap it into the tight tube. The other connections are very easy and straightforward, and the thermostat works great. My old heater is new again and at a great price.

The control module was easy to install. Instructions were clear. This replaced another Jandy control module that failed when my pool heater started leaking and sprayed water all over the electronics. I am very satisfied with this product and was very happy when it was still available. It arrived when expected in the original packaging. I would order from this vendor again.

Put this in today in about 1 and a half hours. Everything now works great! Wiring is easy, no soldering. Getting the old temp probe outwas the only slow down. If you have ever changed a battery or put a radio in car you can do this.

Did not fit the unit I purchased it for. Had to pull components off of board and install that way.

It did the job, got my pool heater working again.

The part worked perfectly. For the majority it was very easy and simple to install. The temperature probe was a different matter. The old one was jammed in place with no way to pry it out. I had to use drill bits to slowly chew out the old probe and was finally able to clear the hole. To remove the debris I had to disconnect the manifold on the outside of the heater. Besides this tedious task, the rest was super easy. My heater actually had a bad pressure switch, which I replaced. But I had also bought this part in case. Now my heater nuns better than new. The dial precision is very precise.

Well thanks to the new parts as I burned the last ones using carb cleaner instead of contact cleaner. Guess I should have turned off the gas as the whole bloody thing went up in Flames. Looked like napome. Threw me back hard. Only lost a few whiskers on the stache. Crazy times looked lime a burnt ham from lampion Christmas. New one works great btw.
