Hawkins A00-09 Gasket Sealing Ring for Pressure Cooker, 1.5-Liter

Just wanted a replacement gasket for my small Hawkins pressure cooker and ordered these. I am very happy with the way it works and it is definitely a good buy. Fits snugly on the lid and makes any air/ steam/ water leakage impossible. comes in the standard black color and don't need any other in my opinion, color is irrelevant as long as the functionality is great. I am hoping this lasts long like the gasket I replaced. I have already used this over a dozen times and it has lasted without any problems.

Fit like a glove. Works fine.

The gasket works fine, however it is the same size as the aoo-10 gasket designed for the 2.5 liter pressure cooker. I am really trying to find a gasket for an unbranded pressure cooker, but many of the Hawkins parts have seemed to work in the past. This is not the sellers fault, as the gasket came quickly and was as advertised, but just too big for my needs

Actually I ordered by mistake it of 2 Litre Cooker as I should order for 3 Litre and it came in my knowledge after received the product so I don;t use it anywhere and stored for anytime requirement. But seems quality is good.

Although these gaskets are listed as the sealing rings for the Futura Hawkins F05-16, 2-Liter pressure cooker they do NOT fit the F05-16, 2-liter pressure cooker. Amazon did refund the purchase however there no longer appears to be a supplier for the sealing rings in Canada which renders the pressure cooker unusable.
