Q: How can I tell when the battery is fully charged? My battery indicator is always red while charging, it never turns off...

You can’t tell with this device. I make sure I plug it in the night before a gig.

Q: Will this work well on a 12 string?

I don't think so as it has 6 pickups and each one is under it's corresponding string. Not sure, 100% though. Personally, if you are planning to use this in a professional setting I would not waste your time or money. They need to do some more development on this unit. It's a great idea but it was a bust for me. It kept cutting out during a performance, sadly. Also, it ships from China and takes forever to arrive, so any issues with it will also take forever to rectify. There are better units on the market now, and if you live in the continental US, you will probably get better service.

Q: How can I get a users manual for this thing?

Mine came with a small, very uninformative one that required a magnifying glass to read. Other than that, I have no idea.
