AuroraWorld - Bear - 22" Ashford Bear, Cream

Several years ago, I gave the now-husband the impossible task of finding me the MOST PERFECT teddy bear ever. It needed to be big enough to prevent my arms from falling asleep at night, but not so big that it took up the whole bed. Fluffy enough to be soft, comfy and snuggly, but not so fluffy that it wouldn't hold up to years of use. It needed to withstand nightly use, survive anything my cats might try to do to it, and preferably be washable. That holiday season, he gifted me this bear (22" size). It was everything I needed, and adorable to boot. This is my third one in 6 years.I gave it 5 stars, but it lost 2 stars in the durability category, here's why: The first teddy (Toby) wore out. The fur on top of his head rubbed down and the fabric underneath became threadbare. It was threatening to burst at the seams.The second teddy (Toby 2) ended up getting dragged onto the floor and into a pile of forest debris by my kitten. Toby 2 was irrecoverably prickly. It survived being chewed on, bunny-kicked, and washed. Sadly, the soft nappy fur would not let go of the pine needles and I don't have the patience to pick each one out by hand.Cheers to Toby 3. May it live a long and painless life.

We purchased this bear as a gift for my daughter's best friend who was out of school for a prolonged period with pneumonia. We were astonished at the reasonable price for this bear, and our minds were completely blown when the bear arrived, and exceeded our expectations. It is a generous size, and it is so, so, SO soft! Beautiful and well-made, an impressive gift to give.

My husband does not like to snuggle at all. When we first started dating he bought me a white polar bear teddy on a trip to Florida and that became my snuggling partner. Unfortunately, that first bear met a terrible end at the hands (or rather teeth) of our dog who was bored one day while we were working. I've gone through 3-4 other bears since trying to find a bear that was as perfect for snuggling as that one and all failed...until now! This bear succeeds in the snuggling category where most others could not! It is not too large and not too small, the fur is super soft, the stuffing is the perfect firmness, and after a few months of snuggles there is no redistribution of stuffing or reduction in firmness. Not to mention he's just super cute and the quality is great. If you are in need of a snuggle buddy, this is the bear for you!

He's so cute! I have anxiety so having something to hug at night is really comforting. He's big and soft, and very nice to hug. Aurora makes wonderful plush animals. Very high quality-they tend to stand up to heavy abuse. I had a few when I was really little and I loved the stuffing out of them for years :) I will warn you though-this kind of fabric has slight matting in places and may shed. I've worked with it before; it's wonderful to feel and very cuddly, but a mess to sew with! If you don't mind a bit of shedding then there should be no problems :)

Another reviewer mentioned this teddy bear's soulful eyes and I think their description was spot on. The product picture doesn't do this bear justice. The look the bear's face has in real life makes my heart melt it is so cute! Kinda reminds me of a cuter white version of the Downy Soft Snuggle bear. Anyway, the bear is a wonderful size for snuggling and is fleecy soft. Well made and shipped quickly :-)

I LOVE this bear. SOSOSOSO soft. My only request is that Aurora makes this color bear with the tiniest, teeniest slip of a smile.I dressed 2 bears with a bow tie (from Amazon)..i dressed 2 bears with a lace headband (from Amazon) and gifted them to all 4 of my grandchildren.They are SOOOO soft . Worthy of a bedtime hug, travel companion, bed decor, reminder that Grandma gave this as a gift of love.
