Q: Is the mold reusable?

When you have 1000+ lbs of brick and mortar sitting on top of the foam form - it's kinda hard to get out in one piece. We've had customers that have successfully done it (shown on our photo gallery) - but it's more or less designed to be cutout / removed with a small hand saw.

Q: Is there a temperature rating for this or is that dependent on other materials surrounding or inside of this form?

Locally sourced 4.5" firebrick is used to build the oven... then, the oven is wrapped with 2" of Ceramic Fiber Blanket to hold the heat in the fire brick. Once properly built, your oven will be able to withstand 2000°. But you will never get it that high - maybe 1100° tops.

When Amazon customers place an order, BrickWood Ovens sends an ORDER VERIFICATION email (through Amazon messaging) so we can verify customers understand exactly what they are purchasing. We've had far too many Amazon customers stating that they thought they were receiving a "FULLY BUILT" brick pizza oven for a couple hundred dollars. This stupidity / scam got very expensive, so, unfortunately, we now have to send an ORDER VERIFICATION EMAIL (through Amazon messaging) after every Amazon order. If you check your messages from Amazon, you will see our order verification request. Once you verify that you know exactly what it is you ordered / are receiving, then and only then do we send the order. After 5 Order Verification requests, we simply cancel your order.

Q: Should we use a product like simwool rigidizer over the ceramic blanket?

That product is not needed. The ceramic fiber blanket lays flat and stays in place. 2 layers... 3 layers... or even 4 layers in cold weather states, the blanket (mixed with gravity) lays perfectly over the brick oven. Then it's a matter of wrapping the chicken wire around the blanket. Super Easy - and no need for any additional product(s) that hasn't been tested - and doesn't have any mention of "Food Grade" on their product description.
