These are a great addition to our kitchen which is black and white and has pure white dishes. The coffee cups that were w/the dish set really ended up being more like oversized tea cups vs coffee mugs so still needed some mugs. We have cute personalized mugs and such as those always seem to be gifts w/ funny sayings, etc. but still needed some plain ones for guests, etc. Wanted a little bit of "fun" than just the plain white since all other dishes are plain white. the black accents are perfect and just what we needed. nice size w/o being too large. While i DO wash the mug each time, when just myself using, will often rinse, clean, and use again and then put in dishwasher when i run a cycle. but i don't use a brand new one each day b/c i do in fact clean it. However, i can't stand seeing that little brown ring that often always lingers. drives me crazy b/c it does not look clean b/c it stains even after being washed. the black inside the mug eliminates this and i love that. Same concept as using a black washcloth for makeup. even after its truthfully clean, the stains can remain and that is not attractive. these solve that problem while also adding a nice pop of accent color. genius!

Perfect for what I needed! A customized request from a dear customer, I was able to complete the order above and beyond his expectations! The bottom of the cup is blank, without a manufacturing stamp, so I added an extra design. He loved it!

Love these mugs for my farmhouse kitchen! Perfect size. Heats coffee nicely in the microwave. Stacks nicely in a pyramid!
