I like this book because it made me experiment with some ...
I like this book because it made me experiment with some of the newer bead shapes. Since I am an experienced beader, the directions were easy to follow. Not sure beginners would find it so. My biggest complaint is one that I thought we had finally overcome in the seed bead world --- listing the number, instead of (or in addition to) the weight of the beads needed for a project. The number of beads is only helpful if they come on a string eg squares, studs, and daggers that can be easily counted. Superduos, Bricks, Tilas, etc. are sold by weight. I have no idea how many Bricks are in 10 oz. or how many superduos are in 24 grams when buying in a store or when ordering online. At least I can return to the store if I run out and hopefully they will still have some in the same dye lot. Not so easy online. I admit that the online stores could also do a better job with this as well. So, please authors, list the weight of beads that sell in tubes or packages. I really do not want to count out 164 superduos in the bead store.

Well written, clear, and with lots of terrific patterns.
Very clear instructions, and great patterns that I've used multiple times and adapted for variations. I'm not great at figuring out the pathways that I need to beadweave, so it's terrific to find such a versatile book that solves this problem for me. There are bead books that are very difficult to follow. No fear, this one is easy to follow. You will love this one.

Two Holes Beads at Their Best
If you love SuperDuos and other 2-holed beads then I think you'll enjoy the patterns in the book. I've done several so far. Patterns have good instructions to follow which I have difficulty reading most patterns. I'm glad I purchased this book even though I hadn't found any reviews on the book and bought it regardless.

I was really pleased with the patterns in the book
I was really pleased with the patterns in the book. There are many combinations of beads in one pattern. For instance, one necklace pattern uses the square, the super-duo and dagger; another necklace uses Rullas and SuperDuos. Changing one bead can change the appearance of the piece. It really stretches your imagination. Thank you, Virginia Jensen, for sharing your talent and creativity with other beaders. I have several new patterns now, to use for birthday gifts.

Great Patterns!
What can I say about this is that it is exceptional!! I have written the author and let her know that all my Senior Citizen students think this book that they all bought, has become one of the newest favorites! Great designs and concepts. Look forward to another from her soon!

Clear instructions and nice photos
Nicely done. Clear instructions and good photos. The designs are somewhat similar, but overall this is a good book if you are new using two-hole beads. It was a good jumping-off tutorial for me. Thank you!

Great BeadIng
Excellent book. Instructions are clear and lead to good results using two-hole shaped beads. I like the fact that the author starts with beginner projects and then works the reader up to complicated projects. This is a book I would recommend to anyone into beading arts.

Lacks crucial information
The projects are very nice in the book and seem to be for the beginner. However I made two braclets and the diagrams are limited leaving you lost in the pattern and also one bracelet there wasn't enough information on what thread to use. So I had to guess. Doesn't show you how to attatch the toggle and loop to the piece either. I just did whatever and know it wasn't the best way to go about it. The pretty bracelet in Chapter 7 called Right Angle Weave Bracelet with Super Duos was a real problem one. It should have suggested using a thick thread because it didn't hold it's shape. Instructions was not on this one to help you size it either. So I had to make the bracelet twice. After wearing it the bracelet rolled and didn't keep it's shape I am done with making this again. I plan to make a few more projects out of this book to see what comes of it. However I am not going to buy any of Virginia Jensens books again. I don't like my time or supplies wasted like this.

Good designs but using some beads that are hard to find.
There are some lovely patterns and ideas in here but not all of the beads are that easy to find. The cubes used are all two-hole cubes and I haven't found a UK stockist yet - all the cubes I have are single-holed and won't work in the patterns. I made one of the simpler bracelets in Superduos but I found that the ending looked messy, and my beading tutor couldn't make it look any better either - this end of the bracelet did not show in the photograph. Slightly disappointing - until I find the correct beads for some of the designs.

Best Book Ever
This has got to be one of the best bead weaing books on the market. In fact, I'm tempted to say EVER! There isn't one project that I didn't want to make as soon as I saw it. The instructions are well written and easy to follow with clear diagrams and beautiful photographs. As you have probably guessed - I REALLY love this book.
