I'm more than satisfied if that's possible. I work as a phone operator, so I'm using this on average 8h everyday. Reasonably comfortable, good sound quality. No complaints from clients not hearing me. Can be worn on both ears, since the mic tilts both ways. One ear free, since I still need to hear some apps on my phone. I did some sound testing and recording and everything was peachy. Maybe the control panel should be not as close to the headset, since I let it rest on the table instead of clipping it to my clothing. But it's more of a personal preference. I'm happy, when this ones broke, I just hope to be able to buy them again. An addition. I've read other reviews and not sure if it refers to the same product. Mine has two mute buttons, one for the mic and one for the ear. I can easily mute the mic, if I'm coughing, or mute the earphone when someone goes jabajaba for too long. This is just a "generic" headset, it doesn't interact with the interface you're using. No hang up button, just on/off the mic or earphone, and up/down volume. That's more than enough for the price. I still use the mouse to pick up or hang up phone calls. Click the mouse button or tap on the headset control? Why is that relevant?

The headset is a basic headset which I happened to be looking for. Nothing fancy or expensive. The Wantek Headset fit my needs! I purchased the first one last August ir September. It worked great. As such, I purchased a second headset in November to keep at my other location. For the first 3 months my second headset worked perfectly . Then in the fourth month it stopped working. Of course I was disappointed. However, Eva from Wantek reached out to me to provide support and service on my issue. She was quick to offer a replacement and it arrived on my doorstep quickly. Thank you Eva! If you’re looking for a good headset, at a reasonable price for video conferencing this is it! It’s light, not bulky, and works as advertised .

My employer has us working in the office again and I'm regularly on calls for meetings. We wear headsets so we don't disturb those sitting in nearby cubicles. My employer provided 2 different headset options but the sound and noise cancelation was awful on both so I returned them and decided to buy my own. I purchased Wantek and one other brand. While I kept them both in order to have a backup, Wantek had better performance so that's the one I regularly use. It's been months now and it works great. It's 100 times better than the expensive ones my employer supplied.

I love this headset! I work in a call center and work 12hr shifts. This headset is very lightweight and the ear pads are very comfortable. When I take the headset off at the end of my shift, my ears don’t have any residual pain from wearing them all day. HUGE plus! The mic “arm” is long enough to be close to my mouth. The mic “arm” is also very bendable, so if I need a quick drink or something I can just bend it away from my mouth. It’s so easy to use. Halfway down the cord is where the remote is connected. The remote control has volume +/ - buttons along with a mute button for the mic, and a mute button for the headset itself. This headset comes with a 1 year warranty (very easy to set up). The customer service is awesome. I mentioned having to buy a second one because my first one stopped working after a few months and they sent me a third headset at no cost! I never had to return the original. They also emailed me to ensure that I was happy with everything. You get so much for an awesome price. Buy it!!

I was skeptical. We had been buying name brand headsets from our regular IT vendor, but since COVID spring and the explosion of video based client meetings it has been getting harder to acquire these units. In comes AMZ with a brand I have never heard of, but has delivered a product that my clients are more than happy with. Since they pay the bill they are happier to find that the cost is less than half what the "other" units were going for. Time will tell if they hold up as long at the others but for now I have a solution for those in need. UPDATE: I have now ordered more for the office. Everyone who has been given one is enjoying crisp clear sound on the many Zoom Skype Teams WebEx BlueJeans calls as well as my Dragon Speak user. Windows recognizes the device immediately and the multiple VC software version have no issues using the device.

Wantek Corded USB Headset Mono with Noise Cancelling Mic and in-line Controls: I bought this for pandemic work-from-home ZOOM conference calls. It looks great. The sound quality is good on both ends. I especially liked being able flip from one ear to the other. That being said, after a month it stopped working intermittently for no obvious reason. I'd talk away and then everyone would say, "we can't hear you," or I'd be listening and the audio would cut out. The issue didn't seem to be a loose connector. And wiggling everything resulted in no static. It either worked completely or not at all. And then the comfort issue. After an hour it was too tight and I had to use the switch ear function. The unit now sits on a shelf.

Comfortable for Long Hours, but Not Perfect This headset has a lot going for it, especially if you spend much of the day on calls. The fit is lightweight and the single-ear design works well for staying aware of what’s happening around you while still keeping the call clear. The noise-canceling mic does a respectable job of cutting out background distractions, and callers told me they could hear me without issue. I also like that the in-line controls are simple and responsive, making it easy to mute or adjust volume on the fly. Where it falls a bit short is in build feel and audio richness. While comfortable, the materials feel a bit on the budget side, and I wouldn’t expect them to last years of heavy use. The sound is clear enough for voice calls, but don’t expect deep tones or music-listening quality—this is very much a business headset, not a multipurpose one. Bottom line: If you want an affordable, lightweight headset that’s easy on the ears during long workdays and keeps your voice clear, this one does the job. Just keep expectations realistic on long-term durability and sound quality beyond calls.

Bought fpr office calls. So far works well. I do find it shaped a bit odd, kinda oval horizontally vs vertically and it's tight on my head a but. Hopefully it will loosen up with use. The sound is great so far.

Originally purchased as my Bluetooth headset wasn’t working well with my work cell, and wouldn’t connect. Ordered this headset as it had good reviews and seemed like a decent price. Received the headset, packaged great and seemed like a great fit but then I realized that the USB port will not work (my error). Returned to Amazon. The company reached out to me to find out what the issue was, I explained the above and they sent me the proper headset without hesitation. Received the replacement within 24hours and the headset is as great as the other one, but I can actually use it. Definitely recommend this headset. Great quality and doesn’t hurt your ears.

I have an iMac that I use for recording virtual classes and also my work laptop that I use this for and in both cases, it was recognized right away by both devices and the sound quality on the head phones and microphone is excellent. It has a foam end on the mic that reduces noise and must say I am very pleased with this. For the cost of this, it is an excellent value, is easy to wear and seems to be well made and with care will last a long time. I would purchase this again.

They aren't great at anything in particular, other than the mute/volume controls are decent i guess for the price. They dont fit very well, kind of awkward and tight on your head. Not comfortable for all day use. That being said the sound/mic quality isnt terrible but i wouldnt recommend for regular use... spend a little more and get something that will be more comfortable and long lasting.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: This headset worked great for me at first but after a year, it no longer connects to my computer - the sound will be there for a moment and then stop completely. It says there is two year warranty but there is no way to contact Wantek the seller. UPDATE: I contacted Wantek and they were quick to respond, sending me another replacement headset immediately. They had great customer service and were very flexible with their replacement options.
