All 5 received are growing lovely and healthy. The roots need to be put in water for a hour before planting. One has even started to flower. I would recommend

My bareroot strawberries arrived today. I knew what to expect as I've purchased bare root strawberries before. At first glance they will look dead they are definitely not if you look closely at mine you will see a new shoot on all the plants. This is the best way to purchase your plants. The first thing to do is to hydrate them so pop them into a bowl of warm water for at least 2 hours before planting them.After giving them a good soak I potted mine up straight away. I've put 2 to each of my troughs as shown in my video. This will allow them plenty of root space.Mine are in a sunny spot so I will need to make sure they don't dry out.If you are planting them in individual pots I would suggest one plant per 7 to 8 inch pot. Again because they need good root space. If you are planting in the ground plant 18 inches apart choose a sunny sheltered spot.Once they get growing and start producing flowers they will need feeding this will encourage them to produce a good flavour and good size berry. I use tomatoe food as its high in potassium. Apply again in two weeks and again in another 2 weeks.They will need regular watering. Water around the plant base a mulch will help.This particular variety Marshmello is a strong and vigorous plant that produces delicious sweet berries. I have grown these before and they have been a great success. I have just had some sent to a friend to try.I would recommend these bare root strawberries. Please remember they will look dead on arrival and to give them a good drink.I do hope you found my review helpful.

Items found to be of a good quality, planted within 4 hours after arrival and a good soaking. Results so far good, should get a good crop of strawberries.

I ordered 20 plants on April 14th. They arrived quickly on April 16thand looked very good. However, only 17 arrived. I emailed GardenersDream and rec'd a reply asking for a photo. I replied telling them plants that already planted so just forget it. Another email arrived thanking me for my comments about the quality of the plants and advising me that further discussions with 'the team' would have to be made to decide on a solution to the problem which might take a bit of time. That was 5 days ago. Nothing since. If you do buy these Strawberries the my advice would be to check everything carefully and if anything not right then return them straightaway. The planed ones are actually starting to show signs of growth already. A shame that they're 3 short/£2.85's worth short.

I bought these in March 24, I was a bit concerned when they arrived at how small they were but I followed instructions and the plants soon bounced into life, lost 2 plants but there were more than 20 in the bundle. The advice was that they wouldn't have much fruit for the first year and would fruit properly in a years time. How right they were, the amount and size of the fruits this year is amazing so I would highly recommend.

Plant arrived quickly very good condition value for money

Ordered these at the beginning of April, planted them straight away on the same day. They have grown slowly as it was cold but as soon as the sun arrived, they grew fast and strong. Survived through the wet May 2021, some botched leaves but all was good. I used tomatoes feed once they produced flowers to aid the plants' production.As at mid-June, I just pick the very first ripened strawberries, taste good, however, they are small and wonky. I'm not sure if it is because of the first year harvest or the plant/breed itself. Will see till the end of the season to decide to try different breed or not.Updated: 2nd year strawberry plant and its daughter plant: they survived through the winter and produced plenty of small sized strawberries as see in later pictures. Highly recommended for high survival rate and easy to care for. If you want large strawberries then try a different breed. I will keep these for another year or so.
