Giganplast Lid for Trays, Polyethylene, Multicolor, 40 x 30 x 10 cm

I purchased this lid to go with the matching Giganplast box and like other reviewers was disappointed to fit it didn't fit. However I've just discovered I've been using it wrong and upside down. The first photo is correct and fits well to form a tight seal around the lip, just add a layer of cling film to make super air tight. The second photo shows it being used upside down and doenst form a good seal. I assume they are designed like this to make them easy to stack multiple box's and lids together.

The negative reviewers have clearly not used it the right way up just as the previous reviewer mentioned. Its designed that way to allow other boxes to be stacked. When its placed on correctly, it is sealed. Yes it doesnt click into position and lock but its not designed to! I am happy with it.

I have purchased Gianplat Trays and Lids separately but lids won't fit them.

A little pricey, however, pleased with the quality.

If you are looking for an air-tight lid for your Giganplast" Pizza Bread Dough Box Mod.Service 30 x 40 x 10 cm White, then like me, you'll be disappointed. For the dough box you need an airtight fit and this lid does not provide this, it just sits on top of the box even when tried in both orientations. So will be returning for a refund and sticking with wrapping in cling film!

Too big for the 40x30 box to provide an airtight fit. The actual size of the lid is 41x31.2 cm. So to achieve a proper closed box you have to wrap cling film around it. So I'm not happy and will not recommend.
