I truly hope that my story can help someone else that is having health issues with their pet. Here goes....I have an English Springer Spaniel puppy that is 11 months old and up until a few weeks ago he had nothing but problems. Cute as anything, but it was literally one health issue after another with him. He had kennel cough, parasites, allergies, scabbing, hot spots, etc, etc. The parasites have been one of the bigger issues we have had to face with him. He has had them since the day we got him and we haven't been able to get rid of them despite several rounds of medicine. This caused him to have diarrhea for most of his life, which was a real joy to clean up and I'm certain no fun for him.This leads me into one of the more annoying issues we have had with him : house breaking. He would not do it. I hired dog trainers to come to my house. I walked him. I installed an invisible fence and left the door open all the time so that he could go outside whenever he wanted. The second that door shut though, he would pee and sometimes have diarhea on the kitchen floor. Every day I would come home and have to mop the kitchen floor. (Oh, did I mention it's a tile floor so the pee travels through the grout? Yeah, good times.)Anyway, I had lost my faith in the vet to get rid of his parasites so I started doing research on my own and discovered the benefits of coconut oil for pets. Like humans, coconut oil has a long list of benefits for dogs including killing off parasites because of its antibacterial (or anti microbial?) properties. I love natural remedies so I bought a jar of this brand immediately. I should mention that at this time my Springer was on a strict diet to see if he had any food allergies, so he ate one kind of food and one kind of treat for weeks. The coconut oil was the only addition to his diet in a while.A few days into giving him the coconut oil, I came home from work and he hadn't had an accident on the kicthen floor. I was THRILLED, but certain it was just a fluke. The next day, no accidents. Third day, no accidents. It's been 2-3 weeks and he has not had a single accident In the house! Call me crazy but I am certain that it is because of the coconut oil! I am going to have him retested for parasites, but I believe the coconut oil cured him and now he is able to hold his urine and feces. I could not be happier! A huge strain has been lifted from our relationship and the house is less stressful, which makes a better environment for everyone.Thank God for coconut oil and thank you sun beams for such a high quality product that my dog can't get enough of!

I have purchased other comparable coconut oils from Amazon without disappointment. This one tops the charts for me though! It is smooth and flawlessly white. It may look a little textured when it's cooled to a more solid state, but it is always creamy. The aroma is light and refreshing, and definitely noticeable. My dog drools while I stir a tablespoon into his dry dinner food. He never fails to lick the bowl clean, just to be sure he got it all. He went to the vet today and received many compliments on his soft coat, while the veterinarian was impressed with his physique and excellent health. I strongly suggest the inclusion of coconut oil into your dog's diet. (Dog- 90# 10month Great Pyrenees mix)

My dogs don't like it and either does my bird. I am stuck with a container that I don't know what I am going to do. I think the product is expensive and I wish my dogs liked it.

This product has been a God sent to my dogs. One in particular that has had all the symptoms of: Scratching profusely, a sort of fungal/ infection/allergy disorder. It really does what this product proclaims. The licking, hair loss, and spots in the skin have stopped. The coconut smell is enticing to the dogs. (I also enjoy the smell of the coconut oil.) The taste is very satisfying to my mastiff, chihuahua, and lab. I can tell that their digestive system has improved more than anything else I've used. I do use Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil regularly, but the coconut oil has improved their bowels, thus a healthier digestive tract and a boost to the immune system to guard against future infections, fungus, and ailments of such. I do not write to say impressive words. I am writing because it is true that I am discovering a change in all my dogs for the better. Apple Cider Vinegar (The Mother) helps the itching from the outside and Coconut oil is working from the inside out. Product seems great but my dog apparently allergic. He broke out in red hives after 1 serving

My Stella had a yeast imbalance an this coconut oil has amazingly saved her from itchy red skin, itchy yeasty ears, black spots under her arms, reddish brown hair on her white paws that smelled like fritos, and tear stains from her eyes. My Stella can't wait for me to give her treat twice daily, she literally licks it off my finger an loves it. This is one of the changes I had to make an only after a week an a half, we are so very glad we did! I am a customer for life.

I received the order but the jar was completely opened and the coconut oil was all over inside the package.

The coconut oil has a very pleasant scent. Too early to tell if my dog benefits from the product as I just started putting it on his food recently.
