Quieter and cools way better than stock fans
These Noctua NF-A8 PWM fans were a great upgrade for my server, replacing some louder, less effective small fans that came with the build. Noise level dropped significantly, these run much quieter even at higher speeds. Cooling performance improved noticeably too, better airflow and lower temps than the fans they replaced. Classic Noctua quality, definitely worth the price if you want quiet, effective cooling for a small form factor build.

They're so quiet!
Holy crap these things are quiet. I built a PC into a rack, and stole a fan off an old PC I had lying around, but it was only a 3-pin fan, and I wanted more control. So I was looking at a different brand, and the reviews mentioned that they weren't as quiet as Noctua fans. So I dropped the extra money to grab a pair of these. I set my curves, and while I know they're working - because my temps are about half of what they were before I installed them - I can't hear them, like, at all. My CPU temps went from around 55-60 degrees down to around 34-40, so it's definitely great at cooling. Yes, there are cheaper options out there, but if you want a dead silent, very efficient fan, this is definitely worth the money.

High quality, great accessories and documentation. 6-year warranty.
After buying a cheaper fan and having it fail within a year, AI recommended this one. It was right. Excellent product, great accessories, high quality, fast delivery (I realize that is more Amazon than the manufacturer). Impressed with the design, quietness, quality, and the documentation included. 6-year warranty blows the cheaper options away. Temperature sensors indicate it is meeping my Ryzen 2700X cool, attached to the Deep Cool heat sink that came with the PC.

cool and quiet
I replaced a dell optiplex MT i3 cpu fan, which rated much higher than the noctua. I thoughy I'd sacrifice flow for quietness. However, it immediately dropped a coulple degress at idle, and prime95 stress tests stablized around 78C after running for hours. At full speed, it's much louder than at idle, but the noise is low pichted and much tolerable than whining nosie. Although the Noctua fan is quiet, cpu fan is not the only souce of noise. I found my computer case itself makes some annoying metalic noise due to harmonic viberation with gpu and cpu fans. I could reduce the viberation noise by holding the case tight. I will probably apply some electric tape or clamps to tighten the case.

Perfect fit for front of Framework Desktop
Perfect fit in the front of my Framework Desktop and helps keep it cool with no real noise. I have the Noctua main fan also with the Noctua side panel. The computer is under my desk and if both fans are on full, and I listen then I can hear it as long as nothing else is making noise. I also have a non-PWM USB version of this fan that I put in my small drink fridge to move air around to help cool more evenly. It's been running in the fridge at 36F for 6 months now with no problems. They are more expensive than most other fans, but I have been buying nothing but Noctua for 6+ years and I sent think I've had a single fan fail yet.

Small and basically silent. Perfection.
Had a case that didnโt have room for the larger 120mm fans I prefer. Picked this up because I was expecting it to be quieter than the one that came with my case and it was. Small and basically silent. Perfect.
