These magnetic child safety locks have been really good overall and feel very well made. The material is plastic and it feels durable and sturdy rather than flimsy, and once fitted they stay securely in place.They arrived very well packaged and the instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made installation much more straightforward. I also like how versatile they are - they’ve worked well on different types of drawers and cupboards around the house without needing complicated adjustments.The fit feels secure and discreet once installed, and the magnetic locking system is convenient to use while still providing good safety for keeping children out of certain cupboards and drawers.Overall, they feel durable, practical and reliable, and I think they offer very good value for money considering how useful and versatile they are.

I’m extremely happy with these BABYGO® Magnetic Child Safety Cupboard Locks and would happily give them five stars. They have been a fantastic addition to our home, providing extra peace of mind now that our little one is becoming more curious and exploring cupboards and drawers.The magnetic locking system works brilliantly. The locks are strong enough to keep cupboards securely closed but are still easy for adults to open using the included magnetic keys. Installation was straightforward, and the adhesive holds firmly in place when applied correctly. I really appreciate that the locks are hidden inside the cupboards, meaning they don’t affect the appearance of our furniture like traditional external child locks can.The pack includes plenty of locks for different areas around the home, including kitchen cupboards, bathroom cabinets, and storage units. The extra corner protectors are also a thoughtful bonus, helping make the home safer in other ways.The quality feels excellent, with durable materials that seem built to last. They provide a good balance between security and convenience, allowing adults easy access while keeping children protected from potentially unsafe items.Overall, this is a practical, discreet, and reliable child safety solution that offers excellent value for money. They do the job, and look nice/ are discreet, but aren't as easy to install as suggested and a little pricey for what you get. The instructions seem to miss out a few steps, I'll write some easier to follow ones here:1. Clean the area you want to use2. Get the applicator out and pair up a lock/ hook part with the smaller rectangular catch part, then slot them into the applicator with the adhesive side showing and the layer of plastic removed from the adhesive strips3. Once in the applicator, place the top strip on the bit of the cupboard where you will want the lock to go - tip - don't go too near the handle of the cupboard because you might end up covering over screws and things near the handle (you want it flush against the sides of the cupboards and doors); you need it to be right at the front edge of the cupboard too so that the counterpart will hook in place4. Close the cupboard door so that the other adhesive strip will stick in place and keep it closed for a while so that it actually sticks (they do seem to stay on pretty well, but I've not had them for that long yet)5. Open the cupboard door and remove the applicator from the catch (it should just pull straight off)6. The hook will need to be pressed up so that it is raised up a bit and will hook onto its counterpart7. Put a lock sticker on the outside of the cupboard to show where the magnetic lock is8. Put the magnetic keys somewhere sensible, e.g. on the fridge/ other white goods or on the underside of the higher up cupboardsTip: when opening the cupboard door, the magnetic key needs to stay pressed against the door/ lock. Sometimes it might take a couple of attempts to get the catch to release, so I just hold and wiggle the magnetic key over the area until I hear it click, but that could be operator error my end!

Really pleased with these. They were easy to install and felt secure straight away. Once fitted, they do exactly what they’re supposed to – keep cupboards safely locked while still being simple for adults to use.They’re discreet and don’t spoil the look of the cupboards, which is a bonus. Great value for money as well.Would definitely recommend.

These were very easy to fit with clear instructions and seem to be doing the job very well.For the price these are excellent and much less intrusive than some other solutions. The components are of simple plastic construction, however they seem like they will last as long as needed. The adhesive on the latches seem to have a strong bond and should withstand a bit of pulling.Our little one has not been able to budge these, however screws are also provided if more re-assurance is required, so these should be safe to use in most circumstances.Just be sure to think about how to align the locks for cupboards doors that open next to each other. Also make sure to place the little lock stickers in exactly the right place or could lead to some frustration trying to open the doors.For improvements, it would be if white lock locator stickers were also provided, in case your cupboard doors are black/dark or you just prefer something that looks less like a dirty mark at the edge of you cabinets. There didn't seem to be options to by additional latches without the rest of the kit, which meant I needed to buy another full kit for 1 more lock, but I was able to give these to granny so not the biggest of issues.

Absolutely brilliant product. Very easy to install with the template and had all cupboards secured within 15 minutes. Extremely strong locks (didn’t tell my wife I installed them to see how strong they actually are!) and she couldn’t open the door. Highly recommend as everything sits inside the cupboard so you don’t have extra pieces of hardware on the outside.

To give background, we have used these on both IKEA Besta tv cabinet storage, and IKEA Kallax door inserts.Installation:The door latches were extremely easy to install. It comes with an applicator, which allows you to put both parts of the latch (the part that goes on the main body of the unit, and the part that attaches to the door) into it and then attach the unit part first, then shut the door, which applies the door latch to it.Once that is done, remove the applicator, and your door latches are in place, just press on each part for a few seconds(I did 10 just to be sure) so that it is at ultimate adhesiveness.It is also best to measure a bit first, as I had 2 cases where I put the unit part a little too far in, which meant when I closed the door, the door did not connect with the applicator, thus I had to remove the unit part, destroying the adhesive layer on it in the process. But there are some extra stickers that come with the pack, so this has not rendered the parts used useless!The guide in the package did leave me a bit confused, so I did put of installing them a bit as I didn't want to mess it up. Luckily the company has got a video to help show you how to install the baby door locks, which was 100% useful and meant I could get it done. I was able to do 3 IKEA Besta doors, and 3 IKEA Kallax door inserts in 15 minutes. This included testing the key and trying to pry the door open.Ease of Use:It is extremeley easy to use. THey have included some stickers with a lock symbol to allow you to see where you need to put the magnet unlock key in order to unlock the door. Very good idea, and very useful to people, like me, who forget where they install things!I have found with some doors that I have to press the door in a bit with the magnet key in the right place for it to disengage, but that is most likely because of where the unit latch is situated, and that the carpet pushes on the door frame of the tv unit.Quality:Great quality product, using 3M adhesive stickers which are very high quality. The plastic doesn't look cheap and because it is all internal to each door unit you are securing, it is not ugly (hidden baby proofing for the win!).I did have 3 of the latches, when they were first installed, which looked like they wouldn't lock. But it turned out that the door latch was just initially stuck in the open position. Just pushing the latch to closed fixed this permanantly and have no problems with them so farSecurity:These are very secure, so much so, that my 9 month old is very angry that he can no longer open the door, even though he tries with all his might to get to the consoles in the main tv unit. So top marks on security, low marks on making my son happy!Overall:All in all, these were worth the money. I bought them a week ago and had been putting it off because of installation worries, but then my son opened one of the doors fully and screamed with delight. So obviously i panicked, found the installation video and fitted them all very quickly. Thank you for a great product!

UDATED REVIEW:I'm updating my review based on the outstanding customer care I have received. As per my previous review, my 1 year old managed to find a way of opening the cupboards by pushing the handles down. I couldn't believe it! I was disappointed, but the seller reached out and offered me a replacement product as well as a refund. They said it was likely that I received a faulty product.I have since tested out the new locks on different cupboards in the house, as well as the original ones and here's my advice:1) try the product out on one cupboard before you do them all at once. Make sure you're happy that it locks and lasts with wear.2) you may have to try different positions for different doors. For example, on some "looser" fitting doors the lock works better on the side rather than the top.3) The locks seems to work best on my professionally fitted kitchen cupboards - not so great on the IKEA cupboards, but again, it depends.4) I have found that sometimes the locking system drops down and therefore doesn't lock when you close the door, ensure that you push this back up5) I found that on some of the "looser" doors that have a bit of wiggle room, it's best to use the installer key as a guide and stick the latch slightly higher up so that you have more of a secure fit and unliked like "pushing down handles" will open the doors.Otherwise, I'm happy that these are invisible locks and the magnet is really strong and works even with the thicker doors. But what I love most is the customer care. Thank you very much.OLD REVIEW:I was really happy with these at first but my one year old has figured out how to open some cupboards by lifting the handle up or pushing it down. It will stay locked if you just pull but if you lift and pull, it opens. So these are useless for me. I tried putting locks in a different position but he can still do it. So disappointed as I like that these locks are hidden

Sécurisation d'un buffet. Le résultat est vraiment satisfaisant car c'est invisible et sans l'aimant impossible d'ouvrir la porte sans tout arracher. Les collants doubles faces sont largement suffisant. L'installation est au finale assez simple.

Si el cajón tiene un mínimo de juego el seguro no atora lo suficiente y se abre.Con puertas (como de alacena) podría funcionar mejor. En cualquier caso debe haber pleno contacto entre la parte móvil e inmóvil de la puerta o cajón.Si existiera un espacio, no servirá el producto. En mi caso, tuve que quitar las gomitas de silicon que le había puesto a la puerta de la alacena para que no pegara fuerte al cerrarla.Quise devolver el producto pero ahora resulta que no se puede. Que porque esta categoría de productos no se puede devolver (y por supuesto que no te hacen esa advertencia al comprarlo)

The bought these for our little one because others allowed her fingers to still be pinched. These do not allow a gap which eliminates that issue! They're easy to install, the stickers are helpful, and the magnets work through our solid cabinets. They work on both drawers and cabinets as well.I'm not sure why there have been negative reviews but we love them. I'm also not being paid to write a review- not sure if that helps.

Absolutely disappointing and useless!

Habe erst Mal auf meinen Man gewartet bis er mir diese installiert, nach ein paar Tagen der Wartezeit habe ich mich dran gewagt und siehe da! Kinderleicht und per QR Code einfach zu begreifen :))) Funktioniert genauso wie es der Hersteller beschreibt, ich bin super zufrieden!
