A lie turns to love in the latest novel from the New York Times bestselling author of The Taming of the Billionaire. Billionaire Sebastian Cabral loves his family, he just doesn't love their reality TV show, The Cabral Empire. So when his ex-girlfriend tries to rekindle their relationship on camera, Sebastian decides that drastic measures are in order. By day, Chelsea Hall is a happy-go-lucky, rough and tumble roller derby skater. By night, she's still living in fear of her past. Most of all, she just doesn't want to be alone. And she really, really doesn't want to date. So when their mutual friends' upcoming wedding turns Chelsea and Sebastian into fast friends, they realize they can solve both of their problems with one life-changing lie: a quick trip down the aisle. But with one kiss, Chelsea and Sebastian suddenly realize that their pretend relationship is more real than either of them expected.... Review: Two words, Sebastian & Droolworthy . - Faking it never felt so good and when it starts with a kissโฆ.. so much better. Or thatโs how it starts for the hero and heroine in this new Billionaires and Bridesmaids book from the always awesome Jessica Clare. This book was not what I was expecting, I admit that. I figured it would be another enjoyable romance novel that I could get lost in for a few hours. What I got was a book that sucked me into the storyline and had me head over heels for Sebastian and Chelsea. These characters are going to be my favourites next to Hunter and Gretchen. (Good thing they make and appearance in this book huh?). I loved absolutely loved Sebastian and Chelsea. โIt is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.โ Her eyes widened. โDid you just quote Jane Austen at me?โ โI did.โ โAnd youโre single how?โ she teased. โI swear ovaries just melted everywhere.โ Who would have thought a billionaire and a roller derby girl would be the perfect match and that an arrangement between friends would become so much more? But thatโs exactly what happens and watching these two fall while battling Chelseaโs past trauma and Sebastianโs nutter of a mother was both fun and heartbreaking at times, but so worth the price of a ticket. Sebastian is a totally swoon worthy book boyfriend and Chelsea is a character I want a as a real life bestie. What she has survived and how he deals with it both broke my heart and warmed it. And shows why this couple is now a firm favourite from this author. This is my favourite book of this series so far. I love how the author has connected two series but managed to keep them separate at the same time. Plus you get the yumminess that is Sebastian. Enough said. Read it as a standalone or read it as part of the series, just read it. You wonโt be sorry. I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review. Review: Sweet, Sexy and Romantic - Billionaire Sebastian Cabral who does love his family and would do ANYTHING for them BUT he wonโt do DRAMA-and his family is ALL about drama-case in point, their reality show The Cabral Empire so he stays far away from that. So when his ex-girlfriend tries to rekindle the flame of their romance using the camera to do so with his momโs help, Seb goes for drastic measures. Chelsea Hall is a puzzle wrapped in a sexy body. During the day, she is a specialty soaps designer, by night, she's a knockabout roller derby skater. But see, Chelsea lives in total fear of her past, so much that does not want to be alone but she also doesnโt want to date. There lies the problem she has. She is afraid to date , to meet men. She lives in her wrap of protection by her dear friends. That all changes when she goes to Chelsea's dear friend, Gretchen wedding. There she meets a handsome man and an immediate attraction is formed for Sebastian, and an instant feeling of comfort and safety and also attraction for Chelsea. This leads to Chelsea and Sebastian to take a quick trip down the aisle. Now this was only supposed to be a temporary fix for Seb but will this turn into something more for both parties or will this lead to heartbreak for all parties involved? I really enjoyed getting to know the MC in this story. Chelsea is such a strong woman and her issues from her past do not deter me in anyway in not liking her, in fact it makes me like her more. I feel for her ; I totally like the fact she has this split personality in a way- she tries to get herself out there to prove she can do it. My heart hurt for her at times and I am so glad Seb is there for her. And OMG, there is SEB-what a hunk. And for him having to deal with his crazy family, I know how he feels about crazy relatives and all. These two work well together. Overall, this is one terrific book and is one of those that I did not want to send. I cannot wait for another book in the Billionaire stories to come out. Sometimes you need a flawless hero
Sebastian is a flawless hero. He does not need redemption or forgiveness or saving. He is protective without being controlling or manipulative. He always acts with the heroineโs best interest at heart and in mind. He is tender and understanding and practically perfect in every way. Chelsea manages to be simultaneously feisty and vulnerable. It is impossible to not love her, as Sebastian quickly discovers. Chelseaโs personality and emotional state make her participation in this modern day marriage of convenience believable. I love the trope and I love the characters. Itโs absolutely heartwarming to watch these two characters like each other, then understand each other, and finally love each other. This sweet, feel-good read is a perfect addition to the series. For those unfamiliar with the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone. Fans of the series will notice that the timeline runs in parallel with the previous book (The Taming of the Billionaire). I greatly enjoyed seeing the overlapping scenes (especially the meeting in Hunterโs office). Trigger warning (possible spoiler): The heroine is a survivor of sexual assault. While the recounting of the rape is not graphic in detail, it is discussed.

Just keeps getting better!
Jessica Clare is my all time favorite and I will but anything with her name on it. I particularly loved this book because, well everything really. Specifically I chose it because I love fake marriage and it was awesome for that. Also, I need to say, as a victim, I love the way Ms. Clare handles the sensitive subject. She does it with care, class, love, and even better she always gives the character a huge empowerment that I desperately wish was true in real life. My favorite series by this author is the games series and I highly reccomend you buy all of them as they are the best books in the world. I'm so obsessed with them that when I saw 'ice dancing with the stars' on here I totally squealed, not gonna lie. Please Ms. Clare keep the games series FOREVER. Trust me, we are happy to visit every show at least five times before we would become bored. Anyway this book had an extra sparkle that I can't quite put my finger on but I LOVE it and its sure to be re-read again and again!

Liked It!
โโโโโI had a love-hate relationship with The Billionaire Takes A Bride by Jessica Clare. This is the love story between soap maker and roller derby skater Chelsea Hall, and billionaire Sebastian Cabral. Chelsea is a smart young woman that lives in fear of her past, to the point were she leaves the lights on 24/7, forgoes any type of romantic involvement, and tries to never be alone. When Chelsea meets Sebastian at a friend's pre-engagement party, her entire outlook on life begins to change, as Sebastian helps her patiently work through her demons, both in and out of the bedroom. Sebastian and his family are not only mega wealthy, his parents and siblings are starring in their very own reality TV series, comparable to the Kardashians. Sebastian wants no part of the reality TV roller-coaster, so he stays away from his family, especially his fame crazy mother, as much as reasonably possible. When his mother wants him to get heavily entwined in a new story-line revolving around him and his ex-girlfriend, he takes drastic measures and asks Chelsea to join him in platonic matrimony. This a win-win for both of them, because Chelsea will always be protected and Sebastian's presence on the show will be virtually nonexistent. To begin with, I liked the story and the way Ms. Clare presented Chelsea's demons to the reader. When Chelsea got scared, I felt her fright, and when she was rediscovering her sexuality, I was routing for her all the way. Sebastian was swoon-worthy with his good-looks, gentleness and sensitivity. He also had a comical way with words, especially when it came to creating a comparison or a simile. I found Chelsea to be a strong and gutsy woman, so her childish actions at the end of the book seemed completely out of character. In addition, while the sex scenes were hot, there were too many of them, especially in light of the circumstances. Lastly, I must mention that I found the use of the word "molest" in the middle of the story to be in very poor taste. Most people have a truly negative perception of the word, no matter how many definitions there are to the contrary. Complimentary copy provided by NetGalley.

Those sexy REBELS
ARC graciously provided by Netgalley in exchange for a honest review. This book should come with a warning saying Do Not Read at Work in front of your boss. It was so hot I had to keep trying to hide my blush. Samantha Kane knows how to heat up the sheets and start your kindle on firing writing about two amazing Alphas who aren't afraid of using everything in their aresenal to trap and capture a sharp mouthed cop. It doesn't hurt that both men are built and stunning and know their way around balls. I can't believe I'm going to say this but this book might have just blown the first one out of the water. And that's saying alot since I'm pretty sure I thought my head would snap. It wouldn't suprise me to here someone got pregnant just from reading about Ty and his sex god Brian going at it. I don't even know how to express how hott this book was. I think my kindle is still recovering. All around I can't wait to find out what happenes next with these sexy Rebels.

Chesty and Bastie
This book centers on Sebastian and Chelsea his roller derby beauty. They meet at one of Gretchen and Hunters engagement parties. Touching in so many ways, they reluctantly fall in love at first kiss and decide a quick sham marriage, all Sebastian's idea, will solve both their problems of being pursued by the opposite sex. Chelsea's story of being roofied, raped and dumped in the garbage is front and center, as well as the heartbreaking moments it creates in their relationship. Highly recommended.

Roller skating Billionaire?
This is a fun read and an indulgence ! The story of Chelsea & Sebastian, they were matched up for Gretchen and Hunter's wedding party and they clicked. She has her emotional issues from the past and he has a reality TV family from which he's trying to separate himself from. It is a emotional, funny, seductive and sexually charged story, She a soap maker/derby queen he's a billionaire/artist. Nothing in common except their personal issues. If you haven't read any of the Billionaire and Bridesmaids series, you are missing out on some great stories to read. Some heartache and sensuality and HEA.
