I needed a new hat for the Summer. I have lupus and I am taking vitamin D too. So I need complete protection from the UV rays. I have bought hats over the years which are all too big. They fall down on my face. Not a good look or idea. I saw the reviews for this hat and decided to buy it. It is perfect, it's not too big or heavy. The variety of options to wear it is really good. I love the colours on the band, which can be used in many different ways. I love the back of the hat where the brim is narrower, because usual sun hats have a big brim all around. This hat stays on when I look up. Normally a hat will pop off when I look up. I am very happy with the quality of the hat. So now this involuntary vampire can walk out in the sunshine.

A great hat with wide front brim and adjustable fastening, so it fits even though I have a small head. However, it is lightweight, so I have my doubts about the supposed UV 50 factor. The hat itself is easily adjustable to cover more or less of the face and it has a removable centre piece, so that it can be worn more as a visor. The scarf arrangement is good - it fastens under the chin, shading the side of the face, and the back of the neck. It needn't be fastened at all at the front, and can be tied in a bow at the back or removed altogether. I have deducted one star because of the query over the sun screen factor but I am really pleased with it.

I love this hat. I am unable to go outside in the sun/bright light as I get a bad skin reaction. I still avoid going out when the sun is at its hottest but this hat means I can still go out at other times. The material can be clipped together at the front which protects your cheeks, neck and chin from the sun. I dont care what it looks like because it means I can now go outside but it is actually a pretty hat, in lovely colours and is more flattering than you would think. Its well made and good quality. covers my face well

the fabric is not breathable at all so with the top on it is more of a rain-hat than sun-hat, but without the top and with the neck-cover it is pretty cute, and covers face from direct sun.

When trying to secure under the chin, it doesn't fit the face necessarily. Mine is loose ..so can't use it that way...but can use with the fabric part rolled back etc.

Excellent hat, and just what I need! It is adjustable and versatile and so easy to pack. The brim gives a good area of shade which means I can read in the sun without requiring sun glasses, and the neck protection, though not the most glamorous look, will be so handy for walking in the heat. Very reasonably priced too. Swiftly delivered.

This hat is very pretty as well as being a really decent sun hat. I am really pleased with its fit and delighted can alter how you wear it to suit. The hat has a detachable top section and the sun shade fabric can also be popped off if required. Add this to how really pretty the hat is and its perfect for keeping cool. A very feminine style which I love.

Beautiful hat and feel so comfortable.

I find wide brim hats annoying because they always lose their shape and are not easy to pack along for a day out. This hat/visor is the perfect width to cover my ears, is cooler when the hat portion is removed and also doesn't lose its shape when it is rolled. I am pleased with my purchase!

really like the fact you can remove the fabric and the top part of the hat. quality is good for the money.
