Nice build for this price.
This review is from a collector for over 50 years and historical reenactor. I will say the quality of the holster build is top notch. Its very hard to belive the price of what you get. I have orignial BOYT WW2 holsters and this comes dam close. I will add some info for the buyers out there. With this reproduction, the barrel area is wider than originals The leather is very stff. The tab at the bottom needs trimed. Sadly it is not stained Dark brown leather, it is painted with coating simular to the jump boots. Only the newer post war black productions were painted and or pigment dyed. The originals we issued in raw taned leather. The good news is that R.I.A did make holsters in 1940s for US troups. I supplied pics. First pic. This is how they were issued 1942. It has some storage stains, been sealed in plastic as found. Second pic. Shows this holster next to a 1942 Boyt hoster that was issued with very little if any gun wear and after 83 years of oil and care. To improve the looks, I will saturate the inside of the holster with rubbing alcohol wrap a goverment 45 in plastic bag and insert gun, squeezing the leather to form and let dry overnight. The alcohol will also take the exterior shine off.

Excellent leather holster for the money.
A little stiff but it will soften with use. A little oversized as well but not a deal breaker. For a $20 leather holster, you can go wrong with this one. Sturdy, thick leather with good stiching that will last a long time.
