It works and is as good as buying from any retail store for the same thing.
Around our house we use tongs for everything. Front cooking on the stove, to grilling food, 2 smoking food, to salads. We use at least 1 a day.So, when our main one broke, I turned to amazon! These looked rather sturdy and are the kind we are used to. We've only used 12 inch, but being able to pick the sizes that came in this 2 pack was nice! We use the smaller one indoors & the 12" on the grill.They seem to be pretty sturdy. They have not bent or caused me to drop food because the clam shell wasn't aligned properly. They are not overly big or bulky and fit in my organizer cup perfectly. They have the metal rectangle on the outside you can slide down to keep them closed.The sides of the "gripper" a.k.a. clamp shell can feel sharp. So, may not be good for kids to use. I think it does help when grasping. Easy enough to clean, but I also used a cleaning brush to clean juices and food particles out of the handle part.

Good - for the price
If you want high quality tongs, you're going to have to pay more than $7.50 for a two pack. But for the price, I really like these. They are made of thin metal that you could probably bend with your hands if you tried hard enough, but they do the job just fine and that's all I wanted.

Works for now
Thought I was getting " heavy duty " tongs. These are no different than the "whimpy duty " ones I have. Based on experience, these should last maybe 6-9 months.

These tongs work great and were a great deal
These tongs work great and were a great deal. They are super useful to have around the kitchen and I like having the two different sizes. The shorter ones are good for cooking over the stove or serving and the longer ones are great for grilling with the added length. Overall a great set!

this set is for a friend, his last tong "died" on him last week. He asked me to buy this brand because it is very durable and a great choice for the money

Light weight use only
I bought these for light food serving - good thing since these are NOT very thick or strong but better than plastic. I'm hoping they do not rust.
