A little goes a long way
Works perfectly for science experiments and you only need a little to do the trick. Will last for many lessons. Overall terrific value and saves so much time and effort juicing a cabbage to get the same effect.

Perfect natural dye for macarons
I use this for multiple flavors of macarons. The image is of my Red Velvet Mac. There is no odd taste at all. No odd smell Quality of packaging is great. Value for money is great. The best part is that is natural

Perfect for Science Experiment
Teaching acid/base indicators, but don't want to buy red cabbage? Here ya go. Very strong. One packet should last many, many semesters.

Works great in experiments.
Had my doubts, but after years of squeezing red cabbage to make enough for chemical reactions, this was a breeze. It only took a small amount to make a gallon and I didn’t walk around with stained hands.

Dyes food purple, smells like cabbage.
I was trying to avoid the chemical dyes, so I thought I’d try this. First off, everything comes out purple like TV character Barney. Second of all it smells like, and taste slightly of, purple cabbage (which makes sense but is not necessarily desirable in baked goods). I’m going to try another batch of muffins and cookies using only a pinch of dye to see if I can achieve the red/pink I want, but I definitely will not be buying this again.

Great value
Bought for some science projects. Great value for the size of bag.

Feels moldy
I tend to get bad reactions to small amounts of mold, including itchy and sore scalp, and I seem to get a reaction to consuming this powder.
