Barbie Princess Power Super Sparkle Doll

My daughter's favorite barbie right now. I read some of the negative reviews about how the cape/gown does not work properly. It works great on the one my daughter received. I'm guessing those people received a defective barbie. It is true however that this barbie is only good in this one outfit that changes into a superhero outfit and has very odd things coming out of her back but it doesn't phase my daughter who has about 20 barbies. Works properly, great quality, and my daughter loves it.

This is the neatest Barbie I've ever seen. Her cape clips onto her back and with a twist of her hips & legs, the cape turns into a dress. With the push of a button her skirt quickly transforms back into a cape and she's ready to fly. Her boots come off as well. My 5 year old loves this doll, even my 10 year old likes this doll and she doesn't play with dolls.

It's OK. I'd like to give it 5 stars. She's pretty, colorful, and functional. That is, it works the way it is advertised to. The problem we have with it is the packaging. Too difficult to remove from the box without damage. I have heard they have to make them hard to remove in order to keep shoplifters from swiping them from the stores. So what is to keep the crooks from stealing the whole package? Guess it's just a sad sign of the times.

My 4 year old received this for her birthday and absolutely loves it. It's easy for her to flip it from "regular" Barbie to Super Barbie. She does like to take off the cape and then can't get it on herself, but thats no big deal. Great toy.

Not really impressed by this one... if I had seen it in a store before purchasing I would have resisted the urge to buy it. When you're little girl says she wants super barbie, you buy her super barbie and dont really question it. I think the doll looks rather unfinished when shes in her normal mode, as that the backside to the cape is not impressive enough to pass as a skirt.Quickest toy my child has lost interest in also... Usually they will continue being into something until I remove it from the house while they are at school or sleeping. My daughter seems as bored with this doll as I was/am.

What a disappointment it took four adults to make this doll work..once or twice..very hard to manipulate so cape turns into skirt..worse..if you don't bother with the magic cape..the doll has large plastic items sticking out of her sides and a huge button on her back..so unattractive for a Barbie

This is my daughter's second super type Barbie. This is very cute and I love how the skirt turns into a cape . She was very happy when she got this on Christmas and this will definitely get played with a lot.

My six year old daughter wanted this doll so badly. The idea is cute and the colors are great. Unfortunately the cape is constantly popped off and it frustrates her because she needs me to get it back on.When you put the cape back on you need to make sure the arms are in the upright position and do a couple of switches for proper "transformation" during playtime.My daughter still loves the doll, but me not so much. I wish it was designed a bit better so the cape would stay connected.
