Up, Down, Across: Elevators, Escalators, and Moving Sidewalks

I work in the elevator industry and love elevators and escalators and this is probably the most boring and repetitive book about the two you're going to find. If I have to read one more page about the Hyatt Regency Atlanta I think I am going to throw this book out the window. Also the book was sponsored by Otis so be prepared to read a totally Otis-centered history. On the plus side the pictures are awesome.

I bought this for my wifes uncle who is MR and absolutely infatuated with Elevators and Escalators. I flipped through the book and was highly impressed on the mixture of amazing images and great information.

Great book person I gave it to loves it.

This book is about the history of elevators, escalators and moving walks and the major impact they have had in changing our world. It is beautifully illustrated with both historical and modern day photos.
