excellent packaging and a real good cannoli shell.
I received these in a very carefully packaged box in excellent condition. I am making my own cannolis for Christmas this year. These are perfect and taste amazing. I recommend these "home made" cannoli to everyone baking for a holiday.

Best tasting shells, ever. Get them and buy the cream too.
My husband is from the east coast and always talks about the Italian cheeses, cannolis and rum cake. I've tasted all those things and they do nothing for me, but it was his birthday, so I ordered him some. First, the package came promptly, well packaged and insulated. I did have contact with someone from Frank & Sal's and they were very pleasant, helpful and customer service oriented. (Which is kind of a surprise from a business in New York, lol) I was so excited to present my husband with authentic Italian cannolis on his birthday and he loved them. I ordered the cream too which is amazingly good. The shells are quite large, have a good crisp texture and aren't soggy or tasteless like some. They are good on their own, but w/the cream, divine. The cream is already in pastry tubes making it easy to deal with, so it wasn't a hassle at all to fill the shells. Delicious. We had cannolis for breakfast and dessert for a couple days, and oh my goodness, it made a cannoli fan out of me. Highly recommended. I would recommend the shells the cannoli cream and the cheese from Frank & Sal's. Will purchase from them again.

Product good, Packaging not so much
Received them in about a week and a half after ordering them so they came in a fairly timely fashion. The flavor on them is really nice and they have a fantastic cinnamon after taste which I love. My number one complaint is that they were packaged incorrectly. They were all stacked on top of one another and didn't have any sort of packaging between the layers. Because of this, only the first 2 of the 4 layers were good. The bottom two layers were COMPLETELY crushed, destroyed, and unusable as a cannoli. Out of the 24 cannoli shells that I received, only 14 of them weren't completely broken and only 12 of them were actually 100% in tact. I was lucky that I only needed about 6, otherwise I would have been in a lot of trouble. If they can get their packaging issues taken care of them it would be a full 5 star review.

Authentic and Perfect
These shells came in perfect condition! They were packed and protected perfectly. Not a broken one! The taste and texture is simply marvelous. Having grown up in Rochester NY with fabulous dessert cannolis available, this is the first time I have ever found the perfect shell since living in the Southwest. These cannolis made it to Tucson AZ without any problems. My husband who is a Sicilian Italian just loves these. Thanks for a great product.

Broken shells : (
I was very sad to be one of the people who received broken shells. Fortunately I don't have to serve them to other people and can just scoop up the filling with the shell pieces, and they're quite good, but I probably won't order again because of the shipping issue. The shells themselves were wrapped fairly well, though I would have chosen a larger-cell bubble wrap, which would be more protective. The package of shells was then put into a large box so the package of shells was probably moving back and forth a lot within the box, even though there was paper stuffing around the package (some of the paper was left out of the photo to show how much space there was around the shells).I used to be a mail lady and learned a lot about what works and what doesn't. If I were the maker/seller, I would look for a thick-walled shipping box that is barely larger than the package of shells, and put padding on all sides, maybe foam or paper pads or, like I said, wrap them with the big-bubble wrap instead of the small-bubble wrap. It's the bouncing around inside the box that breaks the shells. Box should also be marked FRAGILE so handlers will take a little care.
