NOW Foods Supplements, Cholesterol Pro™ with Bergamonte™ and Plant Sterols, Cardiovascular Health*, 120 Tablets

I did a lot of research and wanted to get my husband off the statins he had been taking for years. He had his cholesterol tested and then started with this product. He waited 2 1/2 months and retested. His total cholesterol dropped 70.1 points which put him at 131.1. His triglycerides dropped 29.8 points. HDL went up 3.4 points. LDL dropped 67.3 points which put him in a great range. It made his ratio of ldl and hdl 3.7 which is great. I can't say enough great things about this product. He rechecked a few moths back and everything was staying close to the same. Triglycerides dropped a little more which was good. The greatest thing is that he is no longer feeling ill from statins. He feels much better and this medicine is working. Not to mention the cost. This is way cheaper than the 100 a month with insurance for statins. I know this doesn't work for some people. If you aren't sure though , give it a try as it is better to try it and it not work than it is to stay on statins.

Tasteless with is good

Started taking this product after my cholesterol spiked and then had problems with a statin. My doctor was neutral as to what might happen but said give it a try and we'll do a blood test in two months. I took 4 a day for three weeks and been on two a day since. I also take CoQ10Total Cholesterol dropped from 254 to 231. HDL went up from 55 to 56; LDL went from 171 to 156 and triglycerides went from 138 to 97. Liver numbers improved and glucose dropped a tad.Not where I want to be so I am staying on it in hopes that it improves over the next 2 monthsUpdate July 15th: Total Cholesterol down to 214
