Review: Snug fit - in a good way - Nice and comfy. I’m a 10 uk and they fit nice and snug. I’d say on the smaller side if anything but a nice tight fit so they stay on your feet. Look good too.
Review: They seem good, comfortable and fit me perfectly (without socks, and 1 size bigger) - I was quite worried after reading all the reviews here, about the sizing being completely wrong and possibly even being fake etc (although there are even some similar reviews about the sizing etc on the Adidas site about ones purchased directly from there). So I'm going to try to write quite an in-depth review of what I received. I ordered both the Aqua version in size 9 and the Comfort version in size 8 (as even the Adidas site says to go a size bigger for the Aqua one but not the Comfort), from desertcart as the seller. So this review covers both (but I'll include only the relevant photos). I'm pretty sure mine are genuine anyway. They both came in a plastic bag rather than a box, but with an Adidas "shelf hanger" thing in the bag too, so I think they're just packaged for hanging up on a rail in a shop. The labels on the bag, on the tags attached to the shoes and on the shoes themselves do all say the same size number for US and UK, but I have a feeling that's Adidas themselves getting that wrong, and that might also explain some of the sizing issues (i.e. if these are actually US sizes, the shoes would be one size smaller than they should be here). I can't see any serial numbers on the shoes themselves (which apparently Adidas print on all their shoes, but I think that might only be for their proper shoes/trainers rather than these). But the Aqua version does have a little QR code label on the sole of each shoe, with some sort of serial number which is different between the two sides (a good sign apparently). The Comfort version didn't have these stickers, but that's the only difference, all the other packaging and printing of labels etc is exactly the same style. Well, except that the Comfort version also has an extra little disclaimer tag saying "Not for shower use" (I guess due to the spongy footbed which would absorb water). On to the actual shoes themselves, they do seem to be about the same size as eachother (so one size bigger for the Aqua one was correct), and also seem a little bit smaller (in length) compared to my usual size 8 Clarks shoes. But, to my surprise, both pairs actually seem to fit my feet perfectly (without socks)! I was particularly worried as I have wide feet (so my usual shoes are size 8 H - extra wide - and in the past I've had to wear size 9 or 10 trainers when they were standard width), but somehow it's not an issue with these. I'm not actually sure yet which version I prefer (and I don't have any prior experience with this style of shoes to compare with) - the Comfort version is of course softer underfoot, but the Aqua version is actually softer than it looks like it would be, so I feel like there's not actually that much difference once wearing them. I also see why people have complained about the edges of the strap being sharp on the Comfort version (the padding ends shortly before the edge, which isn't ideal), but it doesn't seem to be an issue for me personally. My feet don't really seem to press into the upper edge enough to feel it at all (even while walking), and I can only feel the lower edge if I lift my toes into it on purpose. The footbed of both is sort of contoured around the toe area, and I feel like my feet/toes possibly fit the Aqua version better around there. The sole of the Comfort version is more flexible though, which means it stays close to my heel when bending at the toes while walking, whereas the Aqua ones don't bend as much so they pull away from the heel more - but I don't think enough for it to be an issue really.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality, good fit, & value - ADIDAS Quality!
*by R***H on 2 July 2023*

Adidas slider sandals: "Adilette Aqua" FY8047; SIZE 9UK &US; FR 43; JP 275; CHN 265. Made in Vietnam. New, original, in sealed bag with QR & BAR CODES factory stickers, & ADIDAS Hanger. Sold & delivered by Amazon UK, at a welcome discount. The Mrs & I have had items, such as clothes, (and even a 2016 MICROSOFT 640XL, which still works well for calls & SMS, and calculations) made in Vietnam; and found their quality control high. * A light blue, with white stripes across the instep, which, I realised would suit a neighbour, as they match his Fiat 500 - so I really should show them to him! There is enclosed a long list, on a small card, of 21 activities, which the sandals are suitable for - including walking, cycling, golf, & swimming - but not for bobsleighing, before anyone asks! These are of a strong build quality, & a good fit across the instep; & leave a generous gap of around 3cm, front & rear, which I require as a buffer zone for my toes & heals (my normal size is UK 9.) CONCLUSION: Recommended on quality for the price. If, like myself, you can be a bit clumsy, with a long history of broken crockery and glasses; and I never want to walk again into an abandoned wooden pallet - in flip flops, - I also recommend your choosing your usual shoe size, as a generous fit, or one size up! ❗ UPDATE: mid-July 2023. I have sunk into the sole of the sandals, as per the shape of my feet. I recently saw a young man in a park in Nike sliders, who had sunk further into his, than I; likely, he paid a lot more for his! *In comparison, the chunky Mrs has not sunk into her genuine CROCS (See my Review.) They were on offer; and I ordered a pair of unattractive White ones, on price, and minus the badge, but they were waaaay too big, even with socks on. So, I recommend the CROCS, if on offer, and if you order one size up, which worked for her. If on a firm budget, seems only the company name is the difference with the competition. The Mrs is very pleased with her CROCS, so, then, I am not subject to her kicking them off in my direction!
