Works great, very relaxing. The heat can get very hot and the adjustable neck massager is heavenly. The kneading action is great too. I am a 6'1" athletic man and the pressure is great and makes my sore muscles feel better. The movement is similar to the massage chairs at my gym. I imagine if you are heavier than you used to be, that would play a significant role in how any massage will feel. My lastvhomedic massager lasted forever with lots of use.

I had the older model and honestly the settings on the older one (just died after 9 years so 1000% recommend this brand) I liked the tapping and other features that aren't on this one.. this one the rejuvenation and soothing feel the same. The headrest neck area is much stronger than the back area, heat works well. It's pretty much the same as my old one except the top is different. I'm still adjusting. I do however like that this one feels more sturdy (definitely heavier). I also really like the adjusting height of this model. A bit pricey but I bought my original on kohls and honestly they wanted way much more so this price is much better decided not to purchase from kohl's for that reason.

We've had the HoMedics massage cushion for about three months now and find we use it almost every day...sometimes more than once. So far it's holding up well with no signs of wear. It works well for both my wife and me (5'4" and 6'0"). I can't vouch for medical benefits, but as 60-somethings with the occasional sore back, we both find it deeply relaxing. It's most effective for the mid- to upper back areas and the neck and shoulder region. The heat can be a little too intense at times, especially against a single layer of clothes, but it's easy to turn off and on at will. Obviously, it's not a $2000 massage chair, but at a tenth the price it's sweet.

We bought this for our mutual Christmas present and tried it for the first time last night. I thought the neck massage feature is wonderful, but my wife complained that the back massage is lacking. This morning I tried to figure out what my wife is complaining about. In both shiatsu and rolling mode the "balls" that are doing the work start very low -- against the pelvic bone, which causes discomfort unless you slide forward and away from them or turn off the lower section. Worse, they do not rise high enough to effectively reach the user's shoulder blades, which is where massaging is often desired. (we are in the 5'5" to 5'9" range, so we are not "tall" people) One reason is that the unit is so heavy it rests on the chair seat. I tried several chairs. The elastic straps aren't up to the task of holding it high enough. I placed a small metal loaf pan under it, which helped prove my thesis but that's impractical for actual use. The other major factor is that a good portion of the upper back is untouched. I stood facing the chair and watched the four red glowing balls move within their range. it's obvious that they don't rise nearly high enough. The distance between their high point and the neck massaging apparatus is several inches, leaving too much of the back unmassaged. I emailed their customer service but received no response. Not a good sign.

The quality of the deep tissue massagers is durable, it is a true deep tissue massager. It does have heat and you can feel it almost instantly, it is easy to use with the remote and has multiple options so it works for everyone’s preferences in my home, it has a decent length powder cord but could be a bit longer to make to make it easier to reach power outlets without having to move furniture but it is able to go on almost every chair in our home including the recliner. Overall very happy with the massager.

Massager works well. It fits comfortably into a chair with a velcro strapping system. The functions include various adjustment settings for heat, neck height adjustment, kneading massage, neck/shoulder massage, upper and lower back massage, and much more. I although I liked the product, it was heavier than I expected and came in a huge box. I would have preferred it to be a bit smaller so that I don’t have to struggle with transporting it. Also, before using it, the manufacturer instructions require you to remove two screws from the back of it and warns you to NOT put those screws back or it would damage the massager. That was a bit off-putting. Other than my listed concerns, product is over all good.

I love it. After a hard day at work coming home to a massage is the best. It sits perfect on my couch.

I have had this since summer 2023. It's amazing. It works so well and hits my trouble spots perfectly. However, the top part (the part that massages the neck) broke off this morning. I am not a heavy person at all, and I have not been rough with it at all. I'm very disappointed. Not sure I can recommend this given how the materials seem to be of poor quality (I see other reviews saying the same thing). I am going to try and open it up and fix it myself assuming I can't get the manufacturer to help. Otherwise, I will likely buy from a competitor for the next one.
