Turned out better than I had thought -- better than expected -- great value compartively
So... I had purchased this sealer, tried it on a sample piece of granite, and returned it because it did NOT enhance the color of my stone as advertised or as much as compared to the Tenax Hydrex my installer had used on our new countertop. Boy was I wrong, and I feel so stupid after purchasing this again and running a test. Our granite countertop installer used Tenax Hydrex on our countertop upon installation, and they recommended its use every 6 months. It looked BEAUTIFUL immediately upon installation as it enhanced the color of the new polished granite. And the online reviews with tests and home testing and such for both the Tenax Hydrex and Tenax Proseal were so positive, so I ordered the Tenax Proseal AND the Tenax Hydrex at a much higher price than other (domestic US) brands. After running a test on Tenax Proseal and Tenax Hydrex and Micracle Sealant "511 Seal & Enhance" (from Rustoleum), I really regretted my purchase of the foreign brand. I sealed a piece of sample granite of the same type as my countertop (from my installer) EXACTLY as instructed by each manufacturer. I also waited the required 24 hours to let each sealant fully cure. I then applied a large drop of red wine and a large drop of coffee to each of the sealant protected granite and let the stuff sit for 3 hours. See the first photo showing the stains applied: left stains are on the Tenax Proseal; middle stains are on the Miracle Sealant (Rustoleum) 511 Seal & Enhance; right most stains are on the Tenax Hydrex. After 3 hours, I wiped off and cleaned off the staining liquids. See the 2nd photo. The best performing was the 511 Seal & Enhance from Rustoleum with no visible stain whatsoever (middle section of 2nd photo). The next best was the Tenax Proseal with just a very faint pinkish hue where the wine spot was placed (left most part of the test sample in photo 2) -- the wine stain on the Proseal section was barely visible in person, not sure if it's even visible in the photo, but I could see it under bright light only. The worst was Tenax Hydrex (right most in photo 2): There was a pink stain from the wine very visible in person, and although faint in the photo, still visible nevertheless. I'm no longer using the Tenax stuff... It turns out that I should have stuck to the trusty Rustoleum company that I grew up with. All three sealants I tested successfully repelled the coffee stain -- nothing visible from the coffee on any of the three sealed sections.

Great product
This is literally the best sealer for natural stone. Used it on my patio. Yes, itโs expensive but it works without yellowing or crackling. Just enhanced your stone to original color. We have a travertine patio. I know miracle sealant makes a liquid specifically for more porous stones like ours but we have used this enhancer in the past and we are happy with it so we continue using this product. I literally and on all fours, with a paint dish and a brush. I brush the liquid on working in areas of about 20 sq ft at a time. Ones I have my little area all brushed up I use a rag and start at the stone that I brushed first and rub off any excess. Once done I continue with another roughly 20 sq ft area and do the same until done. You can take breaks in between or even wait days to continue. Still comes out looking great. Our walnut travertine had literally bleached to al ist white over the last two years since we didnโt treat it during that time and Miracle Sealant brought it back to life.

This Saved our Tile! Long Story but I Hope it Helps You!
So I recently built (am still building) a house which included a cement tile backsplash for the kitchen. It's such beautiful tile and I it, but sadly after it was installed the dark (truffle) grout had stained the beautiful porous tiles and it looked not nearly as beautiful as it should have. After doing some research I discovered that others had fixed this problem by first applying Lemi Shine Detergent Booster (you can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/Lemi-Shine-Detergent-Booster-Ounce/dp/B00KOC6KEE) and following up with this product by Miracle Sealants. 1 bottle of the Lemi Shine applied (with a large sponge) twice with vigorous and enthusiastic strength (and immediate rinsing of each area) removed all the nasty grout stains from my beautiful tile. As was to be expected though, this left the tile looking washed out, faded, and really dull. I allowed the tile to dry for a week, I'm not sure this was necessary, but the tile is porous and I wasn't taking any more chances. I then applied Miracle Sealants 511 Seal & Enhance Color & Gloss Enhancers. I applied two very thin coats of this, following the instructions provided and my tile gleams more beautifully now than when it was brand new on the display shelf. The colors are revived and brilliant! The design pops! It is not "shiny" at all. From a short distance it looks matte, and right up close it has a light satin finish, but from either vantage it looks amazing! I am so thrilled to have found this amazing product! It saved my kitchen design and my beautiful tile backsplash. I could not recommend this more highly!

Doesnโt get rid of edging, but it does help with acid and chemical marks.
Worked 95%! This got rid of the clr marks on my dark granite. Fir the most part. It didnโt get rid of all of the etching though. Still looks better than it did before.

Good sealer
It's a good sealer and if you leave it wet and not wipe it off, it'll dry more shiny. It might take 2 coats. It can rejuvenate old grout to like new too.

Reliable and dependable, but only at a fair price
Working really well on my slate so far. I've been a solid user of the regular 511 impregnator on jobs, which is always fun to bill for, and in my own home, so this was a first time use for me. I think the odor is a bit stronger, but you can really tell that it's sinking in and where a second coat is needed. Happy that this will also harden the material and hoping for less chipping on the slate. If you're between product types, I would ALWAYS use a penetrating sealer on grout and tile and never a silicone product or other type that sits on the surface. You simply need to clean and apply over top annually - no prep or resurfacing required. I am disappointed to see the price increasing for 511 products in store. Doubling and tripling prices for blatant greed needs to stop. If this price point increases here, I'll change products/brands in an instant but hoping I won't have to.

Beautiful results
Love this product! Made my slate patio look much better and the color is much richer. I agree with other customers the amount in the bottle doesnโt cover the square footage as it states so I had to buy a 2nd bottle but it was worth it because the results are beautiful! I had to use two coats to get the look that I wanted. It is waterproof. I will see how it holds up overtime and through the winter months. I purchased the 511 application tray and pad which works well. I also used a paintbrush and a microfiber brush to apply but liked the pad much better.

DO NOT USE ON FLAGSTONE-NEVER on IRONSTONE FLAGSTONE!!
We just had a flagstone patio put in. It was 2-3 inch think Ironstone Flagstone. It was $5,000 just for the stone. We used 511 Seal & Enhance as the directions say it can be used on flagstone. We have used it indoors and on other projects and other stone and loved it. We tested it on 3 different types of pieces and it looked good. We then followed all instructions and sealed out patio. After sealing the patio, 2-3 days later, it destroyed approximately 12 pieces of the stone. The stone turned into a type of baking soda. Its like it burned the top off of all of the stone. The entire patio looks like garbage now after spending thousands. We had a beautiful red patio and now it is all flaking and turning white and grey. Please put a warning AGAINST USING THIS PRODUCT ON Ironstone flagstone. After weeks of work a new patio looks like garbage and has to be replaced. At a bare minimum, please refund us for the two bottles we bought. One bottle could not be returned to Amazon. And please put a warning on the bottle!!!! . I cant believe this has happened.

Superb.
Nearly had a fit when I saw size of the bottle. Thought it would never cover the patio I had bought it for. Not quite finished yet but I think I will jphave enough for another coat. We had a patio put in last year and within weeks the slate had gone to look pale and dirty. Now, it looks superb. Expensive, yes, but well worth it for the look alone. I will see what it looks like in a years time and comment back. But for now, it's done exactly what it says it does.

Amazing Product, highly recommend
I was not sure about this product but was very pleasently surprised. I did not know if I would like the product and how much of it I would need. From the product description on the Amazon website says it can cover 62 - 1,000 square feet for a quart. The bottle itself does not indicate as much coverage and does say it depends on the type of surface. I had 400 square feet to cover and used it on slate floor in different rooms (that had never been sealed). I started with a quart and figured if I loved it would buy a second quart if needed. I ended up using 2 quarts (did 2 coats on most rooms) for a small area that is really high traffic I did 3 coats. Looks gorgeous, wish I had sealed it years ago! When water dropped on the kitchen floor it beaded and no longer went into the tile. The product is a water consistency, I was expecting it to be thicker. It rolls on very easily and fast. I was concerned about the smell with reviews that indicated it had a terrible harsh smell. I have allergies with chemical products and started with a heavy mask but was pleasently surprised that I did not need the mask and took it off. I do recommend that you have plenty of ventilation (have as many windows open as possible) and because of that it would be best to apply it either in the spring or early fall. I have a room left to do and will finish it in the fall. I read a lot of posts regarding what products to use to apply as well as what to use to wipe excess. Below is what I used for that. I used a few things with it (since it was for the cottage I did not spend much) - for applying I used a large roller for larger areas and a 1 1/2" paint brush (for tighter places (corners and against the wall) and a large roller tray to pour the product into it. Then for wiping excess I bought a flat mop refill from the dollar store (for $1.50) and wiped with that. I recommend that you wash the mop refill at the end of the day since it dries and wont work as well the next day (or just use a new one since it is cheap). The roller and paint brush I sealed in a plastic bag and was able to use the next day (I had put the mop refill in the same bag but it dried). The roller tray I did not bother to clean the next day just made sure all the product was used up and poured left over into the bottle. Even if it was not for my cottage I would not have used exensive things that they recommend you buy to roll as well as wipe. Even the roller, paint brush and paint tray I used ones I bought at the dollar store. On some sites 4 pads cost $25+ and the tray they recommend is $40 (which I read terrible reviews on that indicated the tray is small and flimsy and you have to be very careful with it). Lot easier to use a paint roller tray and paint roller (I also used a long painting extension which was great since after I did all the corners and edges I no longer had to be on my hands an knees to apply). Good luck, I really liked the product and hope that my suggestions will help you.

It has transformed the floors. They look brilliant. The colours really show and it has made the floor look better than when installed.
